Just listening to LBC radio with there discussion on prostate cancer. As an osteopath it is something we see frequently as it can cause back pain amongst other symptoms. I urge older men especially after 55 to have a PSA blood test / younger if there is a family history of prostate cancer.
If you have sibling or a father / grandfather / great granfather who had it ..... please get checked out. Book in with your GP and get checked before its too late.

when you come in to see an osteopath we first discuss your problem to find out things like how long you have had it? when it started? what caused it ? did you have it ever before? amongst other questions. we assess your medical history in case its relevant.
then we do some comprehensive testing and assessing to diagnose th problem?
we then treat you depending on what you may need?
treatment involves hand-on therapy and may involve some manipulation and soft-tissue articulation?
i use therapeutic ultrasound to help with inflammatory conditions such as RSI or ankle sprains etc?
