So today we were going to go and pick some blackberries on our Runwood Ramblers group but the weather decided we weren't going to do that so we got the dumbbells out and did some weight lifting and then played a ball game where you had to bounce the ping pong balls and get them in the tray.

Please come and join us on Friday 29th August 2025 from 11am-3pm for our End of Summer BBQ. Come dressed in your best/wackiest beach wear and there is a prize available for best dressed person. We look forward to seeing you all there.

As always, we are asking for some donations for our tombola stall. If you do have anything, please bring into the home. Any donations are so gratefully received.

🎉✨ A Remarkable Milestone – Ethel Turns 100! ✨🎉

We had the absolute joy of celebrating our lovely resident Ethel’s big 100th birthday! 🥳💐 Ethel is a cheerful soul who loves to sing, dance, and light up the room with her constant smile.

To make her special day truly unforgettable, we organised a beautiful live singing performance by the talented Hayley, filling the air with music and joy. 🎶💖

All our residents and staff gathered together to sing “Happy Birthday” and shower Ethel with love and warm wishes 🎂🎈

Yesterday we had an absolute treat. Marie was unable to go to her granddaughters wedding a few weeks ago so they decided to bring the wedding to us, Marie had no idea this was going to happen so you can imagine her reaction when she did see the new bride and groom who were 'married just' IYKYK 😂😂 and all the family. We were so honoured to be able to be just a little part of this.

Today our residents enjoyed a colourful and refreshing Happy Hour filled with delicious mocktails! From fruity raspberry, juicy peach, sweet strawberry, exotic tropical blends, to creamy pina coladas, there was something for everyone to sip and savour.
