What a fantastic day yesterday for Luton winning the League cup final, our resident ambassador Pat invited a couple of fellow residents to her room to watch the match and also made it into high tea. There were lots of cheers and some tears but all in all a fabulous day.

Our residents had a wonderful time today enjoying a relaxing and creative knitting club 🧶 followed by a fantastic movie session on the big screen 🎬

The excitement didn’t stop there! Everyone came together to cheer on Luton Town F.C. as they celebrated winning their 10th football league trophy ⚽🏆 The atmosphere was full of joy, cheers, and great team spirit!

Our wonderful friends from Warblers and Wobblers were running a community Easter egg hunt for some local children and we had the pleasure of being invited along and albeit a bit chillier compared to yesterday, we still had a great time and a yummy ice cream, we walked there and back so had a good lot of exercise as well. Lifestyle coordinator Kirsty lost her glasses on the walk there and thankfully a kind member of the public had picked them up and put them on a wall, it was relief all round 😂😂

What a glorious day it was yesterday and we took full advantage of it and had a lovely time in our wonderful garden just having a chat whilst playing a quiz. Who knew we had so many knowledgeable residents 😂😂
We also watched maintenance man Mark hard at work as per usual, giving the garden benches a bit of a make over and he did a grand job.

Our residents had a truly wonderful time celebrating Easter throughout the day! 💛

From taking part in a fun virtual egg hunt to sharing lots of laughter with the Easter Bunny, the day was filled with joy and excitement. 🐰🥚

Everyone enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with delicious hot cross buns, followed by a fun spin the wheel game that kept the smiles going! ☕🎉

Today we went on our Runwood Ramblers walk around the local area and popped into the shop along the way to see what bargains we could find and spotted some Easter eggs for £1 😱😊

Our residents had a lovely time creating beautiful Easter egg baskets! 🐣🌸 Anyone visiting Mulberry Court can enjoy seeing these lovely creations, proudly displayed at our reception desk. 💛

We had a lovely visit from our little grandfriends from Gill Blowers Nursery School, who spent some special time with our residents. ✏️📚🎶
Together they enjoyed some creative drawing, followed by a cosy story time, and finished off with a wonderful sing-song that brought lots of smiles all around.
It was a truly heartwarming visit, full of laughter, creativity, and connection between generations. Thank you to the children and staff for brightening everyone’s day — we can’t wait to welcome you back again soon!

We had a wonderful weekend, blessed with beautiful weather! 🌞🌸 Our residents enjoyed some lovely time in the garden, making the most of the sunshine. There was plenty of laughter and friendly competition with table games and floor games.
A special highlight was our wonderful ladies coming together to bake and decorate a delicious cake 🎂 their creativity and teamwork truly shone, and the results were amazing!
