Yesterday, Dr Barhey was speaking at the PULSE PCN discussion forum on the importance of working with community pharmacists in hypertension case finding. From monitoring new medicines for hypertension and cholesterol, to recording data at community events and providing referrals for blood pressure checks, pharmacies are playing a key role in prevention and care.

High blood pressure is the silent killer!
On the 12th September, Hetal and Kainaat represented Medics PCN at the ‘Know Your Numbers’ event in Luton at the Ujala Luncheon Club. The focus was to inform the public how to prevent heart conditions, as well as complete BP checks.
