THE ROLE OF FOOD IN DISEASES PREVENTION

Eating good nutritious food with disease fighting properties helps the body to fight diseases. What you eat is incredibly important in the cure and prevention of diseases. Genes, diseases, and food are related. The genes you inherited from your parents' matter, and the foods you eat matter as well. Together they affect the longevity of life. When a person is diagnosed by a doctor with a disease, they always ask, if the person has a history of that disease in their family. This is because hereditary diseases can be transmitted from one generation to the next generation. They can be transmitted from the parent to the baby through genes. The food you eat plays a significant role in reducing the effects of inherited mutated genes.
For instance, if you inherited high blood pressure from your parents, you could lower your blood pressure by eating right. It is only when your blood pressure is regularly too high that you need medication.
