Widecombe Nursing Home would like to hear from any gardeners, part-time gardeners or people interested in gardening who can help us to make our Memorial Courtyard more accessible for our residents.

Stage one is to dig up, and replant in pots, all the memorial flowers we have had donated and lay paving slabs over the current beds. By having our plants up higher, our residents who are unable to bend will still be able to help keep the garden in tip top condition. By having the whole area slabbed, it will be fully accessible to our residents who use wheelchairs and wheeled comfy chairs.

We do not believe this project will take more than a couple of hours.

If you supply the skills, we would be most grateful of any and all help, suggestions and support and we will supply the tea and cakes!
