Today I had the honour of performing a truly beautiful session — a therapeutic reflexology ritual for a mother and her child.⁣⁣

This kind of treatment is something very special. A mother’s nervous system carries so much — the invisible weight of responsibility, emotional attunement, constant alertness, and often deep exhaustion. Through reflexology, we gently invite her body to shift from survival mode into a state of rest, safety, and regeneration. It’s a moment where she can finally exhale.⁣⁣

What makes this ritual even more powerful is the presence of her child. A child’s nervous system is naturally sensitive and still developing — it learns through connection, co-regulation, and touch. Another interesting and fulfilling day at my clinic 😊🦶⁣

Today I had the pleasure of performing two therapeutic pathway treatments for my regular patients – people who keep coming back and truly enjoy the benefits and positive impact these treatments have on their overall wellbeing. It’s always rewarding to see familiar faces and also to welcome new patients seeking professional foot care.⁣
⁣
👣 Foot Health Highlights:⁣
⁣
• I treated two painful interdigital corns for a young woman – the relief she felt afterwards was immediate and incredibly satisfying to witness.⁣
• I also had a fascinating case of onychogryphosis (thickened, overgrown nail condition).⁣
⁣
What causes onychogryphosis?⁣
⁣
• Long-term pressure or trauma to the nail⁣
• Poor foot hygiene or neglect over time⁣
• Circulatory issues or underlying health conditions⁣
• Ill-fitting footwear causing repeated stress⁣
• Age-related changes affecting nail growth⁣
⁣
This particular case was especially interesting, and most importantly – the patient left pain-free and extremely satisfied 😊⁣

In addition, I carried out several general foot care treatments, making it another diverse and engaging day in my professional practice.⁣

First day in the clinic as a Foot Health Practitioner – and what a day it was! 😃🦶⁣⁣

It was intense, hands-on, and incredibly rewarding. I carried out several general foot maintenance treatments and also managed a very interesting case – a nail with a large subungual hematoma caused by trauma. The procedure required removing most of the nail plate, but fortunately, it was completely painless for the patient. In cases like this, the nail naturally detaches from the nail bed and can become a real risk if left untreated. Removing it prevents further injury – otherwise, it could easily get caught and tear off completely.⁣⁣

Definitely one of the most fascinating cases I’ve worked on so far!⁣⁣

On top of that, I performed three therapeutic reflexology sessions for my lovely clients 💚⁣⁣

I’ve recently graduated from The SMAE Institute in Maidenhead, expanding my qualifications as a Foot Health Practitioner 👣⁣

I’m also incredibly proud to have joined the team Golinska FootCare. It’s a real honour for me – Kasia Golinska has built this clinic with so much dedication and care over the years, and I’m grateful to now be able to support her and be part of something so special.⁣
