Creative Mojo came in and helped us to create this wonederful piece of artwork to commemorate David Attenborough's 100th Birthday. We all enjoyed painting different parts of the collage and seeing the final picture. Aileen was awarded a certificate for her excellence!

To celebrate National Guide Dog Dog we had a visit from Russell and Steve along with Shaun and Tango - Shaun is a handsome Golden Labrador /Retriever cross and is a working Guide Dog helping Russell to be independent. Tango is a beautiful Black Labrador/Retriever cross and a great ambassador for Guide Dogs. We are very much looking forward to future visits

How lucky were we for our visit to The Tropical Bird Gardens in Desford - The sun was out with not a cloud in the sky - which meant the birds and the animals were all out basking in the sunshine. We loved feeding the birds and looking at the meerkats and capybaras.

We all enjoyed a game of skittles. The residents loved cheering each other on as they took turns in trying for the elusive strike! However, a few got close to it with leaving only 2 skittles standing.

Some of our residents enjoyed decorating pop cakes but I rather think they enjoyed eating them more 🤣
