Alongside my role as a Mini First Aid franchisee, I’m really proud to work as part of a great Community Stroke Rehab team with South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust and I’d like to give everyone a shout out on World Stroke Day today! 🥰

I love this post from Different Strokes Charity as it brilliantly illustrates some of the common misconceptions we hear about all the time when we chat to patients and their families about their experience. Often it’s about educating and informing the stroke survivor as well as those around them that stroke can have long term and lasting impacts- not all of them necessarily being visible or involving a physical impairment.

Many stroke survivors can experience memory issues, emotional changes, severe fatigue and anxiety to name but a few. Please take a look at the many resources on the Different Strokes website or on Stroke Association website too for further info and to find out more.

We are so thrilled to be back attending this year's The Baby & Toddler Show at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry next weekend with our brilliant friends and sponsors Things Happen.

What a day! It was great to see lots of the team today at the Mini First Aid Growth Hub in Leeds- I’m ready for my bed now but still have the return journey to go! 😴 Days like this are always a great opportunity to catch up with one another, learn new things and share ideas, and I’m really fortunate to work with such a lovely bunch of people- plus the best bit was all the fabulous baby cuddles which made my day! 🥰

Mini First Aid Warwickshire, Coventry, Tamworth & Lutterworth is growing — and we're looking for an enthusiastic new trainer to join our small, friendly team!

We deliver award-winning 2-hour baby & child first aid classes, and we also run school sessions and workplace training too. It’s meaningful, flexible work with real impact — perfect for someone who loves to help others and wants to make a difference.

⭐️ What We’re Looking For:
We're after someone confident, caring, and passionate about helping people learn life-saving skills.

Ideally, you’ll:
* ✅ Hold a current First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid certificate (or be willing to get them)
* ✅ Have a Level 3 teaching/training qualification (or be happy to work towards one)
* ✅ Be a confident communicator who enjoys working with both adults and children
* ✅ Be flexible and happy to travel across Coventry, Warwickshire & South Leicestershire
* ✅ Have a full driving licence and your own car
Extra bonus points if:
* You're a qualified teacher, especially with primary or early years experience
* You have a medical, first aid, or nursing background
* You're based in any of these areas: Lutterworth/South Leicestershire/Rugby/Coventry area
