This is amazing and had to share

When a crow feels sick… it visits an anthill.
Sounds strange? It’s actually one of nature’s most fascinating healing rituals.
When a crow senses it’s unwell, it will intentionally find an anthill, spread its wings wide, and remain completely still—waiting for the ants to crawl into its feathers.
Why?
Because ants release formic acid—a natural antiseptic that kills bacteria, fungi, and parasites hiding in the bird’s feathers.
This behavior is called “anting”, and it’s been observed not just in crows, but in many bird species.
No medicine.
No vet.
Just pure instinct and nature’s built-in pharmacy.
A brilliant reminder that the natural world is full of intelligent, self-healing systems…
We just need to stop and notice.

Now that the year is underway, it's definitely time to think about those aches and pains. So if you have a recurring pain or recent injury through sport, recreational activity or work related strain why not try a soft tissue treatment instead of reaching for the medication. Wet weather here but stunning. Walking is good for some lower back problems especially in the Forest and is also good for the soul. Refresh and replenish.

Pictured with my Kung Fu Teacher at the Shaolin school in Qufu, China back in 2019. It was a goal of mine after 40yrs of Martial Arts training and teaching to train in a school like this. What a great experience.
