On Saturday we held our Annual Summer Party which was a great success. All our residents enjoyed being out in the sunshine, seeing their families and watching the amazing Karizma Majorettes, who performed brilliantly.

We would like to say a huge thankyou to Amber Home of Colour, Fifi & Binx, Harepath Holidays Ltd, The Hideaway Cafe, Sandford Stables, Nisa of Charmouth and everyone else who donated prizes for our raffle and tombola. With your help we managed to raise £148 for Dementia UK. So thankyou to everyone who bought a ticket.

** WE ARE HIRING **

We are looking to expand our excellent team at Pinhay so please share this post far and wide.

We are looking for:

- Care Staff both full time and part time. Must be available to work weekends. Experience is preferred not as essential as we do have an NVQ pipeline for those looking to train and advance in healthcare

- Kitchen Assistant, 15 hours a week, hours available during the week and at weekends.

- Night Care Staff, we have full nights 7pm-7am available and twilight roles 7pm-10pm available.

So much has been happening at Pinhay. We celebrated Bee day by learning all about Bees. We had a Bee keeper pop in all dressed up in his Bee keeping attire and he told us some fascinating facts. We tasted some homecomb and different honeys too. We also painted some terracotta pots.

I hope everyone has being enjoying the sunshine as much as we all have 🙂.
There has been plenty going on over the last couple of weeks, including a birthday 🎂.
We had the delightful "Spoonful of Sugar" perform at Pinhay, singing Julie Andrew songs. Everyone joined in singing and dancing. Our residents have also enjoyed a spot of flower arranging, weaving, and sitting out in the sun. Lastly, we were joined by the fabulous Lyme Luggers, who sang and played on their ukuleles and Kazoos.
