Join us at Thrive Together on Tuesday 10th March 10am-12pm for our very first Coffee Conversations.

We are being joined by Kate Donohoe from Boom Weight Loss and Fitness. She will be talking about strength training and I think this is such an important conversation for women in midlife.

This isn’t about becoming a bodybuilder.
It’s about bone health, confidence, independence and feeling capable in your own body.

We’ll have coffee from 10am, then she’ll join us at 11 for a relaxed talk and Q&A.

Just 12 spaces so it stays friendly and intimate.

Tomorrow night is Thrive Together… and we’re celebrating our first birthday.

A year ago this was just an idea.
Now it’s real friendships, shopping days, shared stories, and women supporting each other through very real life.

I feel incredibly proud of what we’ve created together.

Come and celebrate with us 🍾

Today I spent the day out shopping with a few of the women from Thrive Together and it really made me smile.

Over the past year this group has grown into something more than just meetings — it’s become a place where genuine friendships are forming, conversations flow easily and everyone gets to be fully themselves.

At our next meeting we’ll be making plans for the rest of the year — more social events, more shared experiences and more time together.
This is what community can look like.

If you’ve been thinking about joining but haven’t quite taken the step yet, know that you’d be very welcome. 💛

If you’re a woman in midlife and January has felt a bit long, heavy or quietly overwhelming, this is your invitation to something lighter.

We’re getting together for our Thrive Together group meeting — a relaxed, welcoming space for midlife women where there’s room for honesty, connection and laughter.

It’s supportive but not serious. Gentle but not dull. Expect easy conversation, shared experiences, a few knowing nods and probably a laugh or two along the way. You don’t need to prepare anything, just come as you are.

G e n t l e J a n u a r y

A slow walk through a wooded copse on Saturday.
No plan. No pressure. Just moving....well except for a promise of lunch at the end!

And then I saw a pony.
Calm, unhurried. Completely at ease where it was.

It felt like a gentle reminder of how I want this January to feel.
Less pushing. More noticing.
Choose steadier ground and a softer pace.

I started the Thrive Together community in February this year and I am so pleased I did. Friendships have been formed and further socal activities are taking place.

If you are a woman in midlife who is looking for a relaxed atmosphere, where you can talk about whatever is on your mind, then this might be for you.

If you are nervous about coming along, I am happy to meet you for a coffee, so you have one face there you know when you attend.
