Young walkers, joggers and runners from Pennington C of E Junior School took part in the Daily Mile for Oakhaven Hospice, and raised a wonderful £160 for their hard effort!

In the spirit of the Oakhaven Walk, children walked, jogged or ran 8 times around their school field, to complete 1 mile, wearing their donated Oakhaven Walk t-shirts.

A huge well done, and an even bigger thank you Pennington Juniors!

Care for a Cuppa? Could you host your very own Care for a Cuppa tea party or coffee morning this summer, to help fund Oakhaven's care for local families?

Our vital care and support is provided free of charge to patients with life-limiting illnesses, and their families and loved ones. Yet only 11% of our costs are covered by the NHS. For the remainder we are grateful to everyone in our community who helps us fundraise, makes a donation and leaves us a gift in their will, helping us to make every moment matter for families across our New Forest, Totton and Waterside communities.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the team of gardening volunteers to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the Hospice gardens and grounds.

Are you passionate about charity retail and looking to make a real impact in your community?

We’re seeking a dynamic Processing Assistant Manager to support our growing Hospice Retail Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping us generate essential income that supports Hospice care services for individuals and families when they need it most.

As the Processing Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Processing Manager to ensure the efficient sorting, pricing, and distribution of donated goods across our network of Hospice shops. You will help lead a team of staff and volunteers in our Lymington Warehouse, maintaining high standards of stock preparation, stock control, and health and safety practices.
