New Blog/Notes
But I am going to share on here as I was asked a question (Blogs are usually for Members) ๐
This is an explanation of how Essential oils are absorbed in the body ๐
And Yes, it's true that when essential oils are massaged into the skin, they can be absorbed into the bloodstream and travel throughout the body. This absorption is facilitated by the skin's permeability and the warmth and massage techniques used during application. Once in the bloodstream, the essential oil molecules can interact with various systems in the body to produce therapeutic effects.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
Skin Absorption:
The skin is not entirely impermeable. Certain substances, including essential oil molecules, can pass through its layers.
Bloodstream Entry:
Essential oils can enter the bloodstream through the skin's pores, hair follicles, and sweat glands.
Circulation:
Once in the bloodstream, the oil molecules are carried throughout the body, reaching different organs and tissues.
Therapeutic Effects:
The essential oils can then interact with the body's systems, potentially providing benefits such as relaxation, pain relief, and mood enhancement.
Factors Affecting Absorption:
Factors like the type of oil, the condition of the skin, and the application method can influence the rate and extent of absorption.

Note: I was recently asked why I donโt do Full Body Aromatherapy,
First (time to fess up) Iโm 71 in a few weeks! Second as written above the Essential oils travel so even a back neck and shoulder or foot Massage can benefit the whole body ๐๐. I am passionate about my Aromatherapy and will continue as long as my โEnergyโ and my โHandsโ work ๐, also my Mental Health is so important and engaging with my clients helping them relax and revive makes me โFeel Goodโ
A big Thank you to all my Clients
for trusting me ๐๐๐
