We just want to say a huge thank you to Will from Outright Adventure CIC for popping by on Saturday for a photo to say thanks. In case you missed it, we recently nominated Outright Adventure for Making A Difference Locally's Thrive in 2025 Heart of the Community Award, and they successfully won a £2000 donation!

We're proud to support our local community and the hard work that causes like Outright Adventure do!

This week it’s both Volunteers’ Week and 10 years of Outright Adventure — and if that doesn’t call for a bit of recognition, nothing does.

We’re 100% volunteer-run and always have been. So to our volunteers - in that time, you’ve made a difference to hundreds of young people — giving them space to grow, try, fail, succeed, and laugh till it hurts.

Whether you’ve been leading sessions, repairing broken kit, calming chaos, or just being there when it matters, the list is endless — thank you. You’ve made a real difference in young people’s lives, not just in big moments, but in all the small ones too.

10 years in, here’s to the next decade. 💪

🎉 Outright Adventure is turning 10! We’re marking the anniversary with a one-day event in Lymington on Saturday 28th June, and invite all current and past members, along with their families, to join us.

Meet the Team: Mike

Mike’s been part of Outright Adventure since 2015, bringing creativity, colour, and just the right amount of chaos (the good kind) to our sessions. He’s got an eye for the arty, a mind full of ideas, and probably more Sharpies than the rest of us combined.

He leads our Pioneers group and runs archery sessions that are equal parts skill-building and friendly competition (yes, he really can land one in the gold while giving instructions mid-shot). Whether it’s encouraging someone to try something new or turning a simple idea into a full-blown activity, Mike’s always ready to help young people aim high—in every sense.

What a jam-packed half term we’ve had this spring — and the best part? The clocks have changed, bringing those lighter evenings we’ve all been waiting for!

We’ve been out hiking, scuba diving, enjoying a day trip to Longleat, and even made a site visit to the stunning Lake District, all alongside our regular weekly sessions.

Now we’re looking ahead to warmer days, longer evenings, and some well-deserved beach adventures. Roll on summer! ☀️

They’re back! 🚙💨 800 miles later, Will & Mike have returned from The Lakes after an epic site visit. Campsite? Checked. Adventure? Guaranteed. Excitement? Through the roof! 🌲🏕️
