Keep talking, youโ€™re not alone x

Many new parents are told to expect the baby blues - tearful moments. mood swings, feeling overwhelmed.
For many, this passes within a couple of weeks but for others, what theyโ€™re experiencing is something more.

Baby blues often:
- Start in the first few days after birth
- Feel up and down, but manageable
- Ease within around two weeks

Something more may:
- Last longer or feel like itโ€™s getting harder
- Include constant anxiety, panic or low mood
- Make it difficult to sleep, eat or enjoy anything
- Bring intrusive or frightening thoughts
- Feel isolating, even when support is around

Hereโ€™s the most important part - if itโ€™s affecting you, it matters! You donโ€™t need a diagnosis. You donโ€™t need to be โ€œworseโ€ and you donโ€™t need to wait until youโ€™re at breaking point.

If youโ€™re unsure what youโ€™re feeling, or worried it isnโ€™t going away, you deserve support.
