Saturday 7/2/26
2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 resident has been out supported shopping 1-1 after lunch. 1 has had his weekly visit from his mum. Everyone else have been relaxing in the lounges watching TV, playing games or listening to music. Weather is cold & wet again today

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 resident was transported to & from his usual service at Hope House. Others have stayed in keeping warm & dry playing games, listening to music or watching TV.

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. weather still awful so no outings planned to day. Everyone sat relaxing in the lounges watching TV or listening to music.

Tuesday 10/2/26
1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 others have attended the coffee morning at the OAP hall. In the afternoon, 3 ladies attended the afternoon Tea Dance transported by staff & pushed there in wheelchairs. 1 resident went out shopping 1-1 with staff & another had her 1-1 support in her room. Others sat watching TV ot listening to music. The decorator made a start today too. They will be decorating the whole home concentrating on the communal areas at first then moving on to residents bedrooms later in the year. Each resident will have a choice of colour for their own room.

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 others have been transported to & from the coffee morning at the Methodist church. This afternoon, 7 residents took part in chair exercises in the lounge. 2 ladies have had 1-1 support in doors due to the continuing bad weather, having their nails painted & having a delicious cheesecake brought in by the staff.

3 residents went out shopping independently in town this morning, 2 others have been out supported shopping with a member of staff. They also called into a cafe for a drink & met up with 1 of the residents mums. 1 other resident was pushed into town in her wheelchair to go shopping 1-1 with a member of staff. Other residents sat in the lounges watching TV, chatting, playing games or listening to music

2 residents went out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 gents had their hair cut at the home. 2 residents attended social service reviews with 1 of them having his mum present. After the revies 1 resident went on home visit with his mum & will return Saturday evening.2 residents were pushed into town in her wheelchair to do some 1-1 supported shopping. The rest sat in the lounges relaxing watching TV & chatting. Some were in their rooms listening to music.

After lunch, 1 resident was supported 1-1 to go shopping being pushed in her wheelchair by a member of staff. In the evening, 1 resident returned from home visit.The others have been sat in the lounges playing games, watching TV & chatting

After lunch, 3 resident attended the afternoon tea Dance, 1 being pushed there & back in her wheelchair as she is no longer able to access the vehicle to transport there. After lunch, 2 of our residents had visits from their sisters who took them out in to town to a cafe for a cake & a drink to celebrate 1 of the residents birthdays. She was 87 last Sunday. 2 other residents were supported 1-1 to go out shopping in town & had a cake & drink in a cafe. 7 residents took part chair exercises with a member of staff. The others sat in the lounges watching TV

3 residents went out in to town shopping independently , 2 others went out supported shopping with a member of staff & called for a drink in a cafe where 1 of the residents met up with his mum. Another resident was supported 1-1 to go shopping in town. 1 resident was taken to the opticians by her parents & had her sight test done. The rest relaxed in the lounges watching TV or in their rooms playing music. In the evening, 2 residents were supported by 2 staff to attend the new disco / karaoke event at Linkage Green. It was a busy night with around 40 others there & everyone really enjoyed themselves

The weather has been too bad today for 1-1 shopping for our elderly ladies so this has been postponed in the hope of better weather over the next few days. 1 resident had her annual review with Social Services too. The rest have been relaxing in the lounges watching TV, playing games, chatting or in their rooms listening to music.

2 residents went shopping in town this morning. 1 had a visit from her brother & sister to sadly inform the resident that her mum had passed away & t hen they took her out into town shopping. In the afternoon, almost all of the residents (12 of them) went into town to look around the Xmas market. Several staff came to volunteer help to push the ones in wheelchairs so that no one missed out. They all really enjoyed themselves & the weather thankfully stayed dry for the time they were out.
