2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 has had a visit from his mum & another has been out supported shopping 1-1 this afternoon too. The others have been sat in the lounges chatting, watching TV or listening to music

Sunday 14/12/25
2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 has attended his Sunday morning service at Hope House. 2 of our residents had visits from their brothers who were accompanied / transported by their niece. The rest have been relaxing in the lounges playing games, watching TV or listening to music

2 residents have been out shopping independently int own this morning. Other have been watching TV in the lounges, chatting, playing games or listening to music in their rooms

Tuesday 16/12/25
1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 others attended the coffee morning at the OAP hall. This afternoon, 2 ladies have attended the afternoon Tea Dance. 1 resident has been out 1-1 supported shopping & another has has spent her 1-1 support time playing games & having a pamper session as the weather wasn't good enough for her to go out in her wheelchair. The rest are sat watching TV in the lounges. This evening 2 residents are being supported by a member of staff to to go out to a pub into town to have a Christmas drink.

3 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 resident was supported 1-1 to go shopping in town. 1 resident was picked up by her parents & taken into town to have a Christmas dinner. The rest of the resident were relaxing in the lounges watching TV or listening to music in their rooms

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. Everyone is now getting excited about Christmas & there a buzz in the air. Residents have been sat watching Christmas movies on TV. 1 resident had 1-1 baking session with staff & made some buns for everyone

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. in the afternoon, we held our Waverley Christmas party attended by most of the staff & several family members & friends attended too. There was even a visit from Santa who gave everyone early presents. many enjoyed & joined in the party games & karaoke too

2 residents went shopping in town this morning. 1 had a visit from her brother & sister to sadly inform the resident that her mum had passed away & t hen they took her out into town shopping. In the afternoon, almost all of the residents (12 of them) went into town to look around the Xmas market. Several staff came to volunteer help to push the ones in wheelchairs so that no one missed out. They all really enjoyed themselves & the weather thankfully stayed dry for the time they were out.

2 residents went out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 was taken to his usual Sunday service but this was changed from morning to afternoon.Staff transported him there & back again for the afternoon service. 2 residents went home to the parents homes for the day. All but 2 residents have been out for a group Christmas dinner with family & friends (22 people in total) some staff have helped to take residents there on their days off. All of them really enjoyed themselves socialising & the food was very good too. They all returned stuffed & happy

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 other have attended the coffee morning at the OAP hall.In the afternoon 3 residents have attended the afternoon Tea Dance at the community hall & 2 others have been out shopping supported 1-1 by staff. 1 also went for a drink & piece of cake at a cafe while out in town too. The rest have been enjoying a karaoke afternoon to celebrate 1 of the residents 64th birthday

Mum helped her sort out her clothes & bagged some up ready to go to the charity shop & then she took her out for lunch at the Beck followed by shopping in town. In the afternoon, 1 resident has gone shopping & then called to visit his friends at a guest house in town.2 residents have gone on holiday to Skegness for the weekend supported by 2 x 1-1 staff

Most of the residents have been relaxing in the lounges or their bedrooms after the vaccines watching TV or listening to music. 1 resident was taken out for dinner in town supported 1-1

3 resident went into town shopping independently. 2 others went out supported shopping with a member of staff & called into a cafe for a drink where 1 of the residents met up with his mum. 7 residents took part in craft classes during the day & then in the afternoon, 2 residents wer supported to go shopping 1-1 being pushed into town in their wheelchairs

Friday 17/10/25

2 residents went shopping independently into town in the morning. 1 resident met up with friends & went out for lunch in town. 2 attended the coffee morning at the OAP hall & in the afternoon 1 resident went to see his friends at a guest house in town. The others spent the day relaxing in the lounges watching TV listening to music or chatting

Saturday 18/10/25

2 residents went shopping independently in town this morning. 1 was transported to visit his mum who's had a fall & is no longer mobile at the moment to do her usual Saturday visit. 1 resident was supported 1-1 to go shopping in town after lunch. The others spent the day watching Tv in the lounges or listening to music in their bedrooms



Sunday 19/10/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 has been transported to & from Sunday morning service at Hope House. 1 resident has been picked up by her parents & is going back home for lunch. The others are watching TV in the lounges, listening to music in their bedrooms or playing games



Monday 20/10/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. this afternoon, 2 others have been supported 1-1 to go out shopping & have a drink / cake in a cafe in town. The rest have been relaxing at the home watching TV or listening to music or chatting in the lounges



Tuesday 21/10/25

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 others have attended the coffee morning at the OAP hall. In the afternoon, 1 resident was supported 1-1 to go shopping in town. The others have been sat in the the lounges chatting & watching TV or playing games



Wednesday 22/10/25

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning, 2 others have attended the coffee morning at the Methodist church. 1 resident has had a visit from her mum this morning. In the afternoon, 1 resident was supported 1-1 to go out for a drink & cake at a cafe in town. The others have been watching TV, chatting, playing games & listening to music.



Thursday 23/10/25

3 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 others have been out supported shopping & called for a drink in a cafe. other residents had to have their planned 1-1 activities cancelled due to the stormy weather. The others sat in the lounges keeping warm & dry watching TV chatting & listening to music. At dinner, 10 residents & several staff went out for a meal to the Beck to celebrate a residents birthday



Friday 24/10/25

1 resident has been out shopping independently in town this morning. 2 others attended the coffee morning at the OAP hall. In the afternoon, 1 resident went to visit his friends at a guest house in town & the others staying in watching TV or listening to music



Saturday 25/10/25

3 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 has been taken to visit his mum at home & another has been picked up by her parents & gone home for the day returning for dinner. The others have been watching TV listening to music or just sat chatting.



Sunday 26/10/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. 1 has been transported to & from his Sunday service at Hope House. The others have been watching TV & chatting in the lounges



Monday 27/10/25

2 residents have been out shopping independently in town this morning. This afternoon, 2 others have been out supported 1-1 to have dinner at the sport centre cafe. The others have been watching TV or listening to music in their bedrooms
