Arriving into this space of non doing, becoming aware of your body’s need to rest and restore, making yourself comfortable within your cosy gong den, taking a few breaths…starting to let go of your day, we gently drift into a 10 minute spoken word meditation accompanied by sound instruments, helping you to settle, held by the earth coming in to the stillness.
In this place we allow the mind to settle fully as we drift into the field of feeling tones. As the gongs gently sound you enter a sense of timelessness and bliss and in this space tension and stress melt away in the moments allowing you to just be as the vibrations come to you and through you at cellular level helping to create a calming sense of balance within.
Eventually we come round slowly and enjoy a warm drink together before we leave.

Our Intro to Yoga class restarts tonight, .with.mike is back!

This is a true beginners class which will gently introduce you to all aspects of Yoga.

Each class will be adapted to who is present on the day. Together we will work through basic postures, introduce breathwork, combine the two in gentle flows,
investigate yoga philosophy, explore yoga history and demystify the subject to allow you to grow into a practice with confidence and enquiry.

We at Fold dedicate ourselves to introducing yoga to everyone and if you are unsure if yoga is for you then please come along and give it a try in a safe, unjudged,
friendly environment.

Slow Flow returns this week! Sink into your autumnal evenings with a beautiful slow flow guided by on Wednesdays at 7.30pm

Move with softness, with intention and attention in our Slow Flow. This practice has origins in a Vinyasa style yet is stripped back and slowed down to allow for deeper connection.

Taking your time, you will flow from one position to the next, giving you the chance to truly feel and enjoy each pose and its effects. With a restorative element, this practice is the ultimate relaxation; an opportunity to slow down, take time for you and come back to yourself. Expect to find a mix of standing and seated postures.

Join this Sunday. Her sessions are divine and I highly recommend!

This class is a gentle, continuous journey from tension to deep rest—designed to support nervous system regulation and recovery from stress or burnout.
We begin with grounding breathwork to settle the mind and body, then flow into a slow yin-inspired practice where you’re invited to stay close to your breath and move intuitively, exploring stillness and subtle movement, allowing your body to release at its own pace.

The class naturally transitions into yoga nidra, a guided rest practice that supports deep nervous system repair.

Open to all levels—especially those feeling overwhelmed, fatigued, or in need of calm. Come as you are, and leave feeling more like yourself.

It’s that time again! Yoga in the Park this Sunday!

Join us with .with.mike and and the wonderful Yas Bean team for a a free, community yoga session with refreshments, on the last Sunday of the month.

Our yoga in the park sessions will run until Sept (except august), in Victoria Park, Macclesfield, 9.30am start.
