Meet Ali! Ali has recently been one of our outstanding students and we are very pleased to welcome her in the studio as a teacher.

Ali will be taking the Monday 9.30am Vinyasa until Christmas, we definitely recommend catching her on the mat!

Here’s a note form Ali about her yoga journey…

‘I first started practicing yoga around 10 years ago, and for a few years I went in waves of loving it and not getting much from it. I really fell in love with yoga sround 4 years ago after I had several major surgeries. It helped me so much not only start moving again and building strength but to come to terms with and accept my new body and new self. I think yoga can be really powerful in all aspects of life, and I really appreciate what an amazing supportive community there is.

Meet Emily!

Welcoming Emily onto the timetable covering George whiles she’s on her travels.

You can catch Emily on Tuesdays 7am and Wednesdays 6pm

Heres a little more about Emily and her yoga journey..

‘I first discovered yoga during the 2020 lockdown. The practice found me in a difficult place at a difficult time. Looking back, it was the start of a journey back to myself. Lots has changed since I began practicing yoga. At first it was a solitary experience, using apps, online meditations and YouTube videos. I aimed to get stronger, more flexible, and to regain a lost connection to my body following years of living an unsustainably fast life in the city.

I moved to Macclesfield at the start of 2024 and I felt the calling to train as yoga teacher during a community vinyasa class. My teaching practice is rooted in ta**ra, somatics and embodied movement. I love a powerful class with a multisensory soundscape, rich visualisation and plenty of storytelling, flow and intuition. Yoga has changed my life and I can’t wait to see where the journey takes me in the coming years.’

NEW CLASS!- Sundays 5pm Yin and Nidra with Jen starting Nov 9th
Class change- Mondays 9.30am Vinyasa with Danielle until Christmas

We sadly say farewell to Lauren M from Monday am as she makes house move, we wish he well on her new ventures and also temporary say farewell to George while she adventures on her travels, we expect George and Donna back in the New Year.

Arriving into this space of non doing, becoming aware of your body’s need to rest and restore, making yourself comfortable within your cosy gong den, taking a few breaths…starting to let go of your day, we gently drift into a 10 minute spoken word meditation accompanied by sound instruments, helping you to settle, held by the earth coming in to the stillness.
In this place we allow the mind to settle fully as we drift into the field of feeling tones. As the gongs gently sound you enter a sense of timelessness and bliss and in this space tension and stress melt away in the moments allowing you to just be as the vibrations come to you and through you at cellular level helping to create a calming sense of balance within.
Eventually we come round slowly and enjoy a warm drink together before we leave.
