Okโฆ. Picture thisโฆ. You want 2 stone off.
There are 3 roadsโฆ. Each one will take you to a wonderful place called โYOUR GOALโ
So โYOUR GOALโ is a place where you feel exuberant with the way you look and feel, happy that all your clothes fit, you feel like youโve been given a new lease of life as youโre more active, less tired, have more energy, sleeping better and with no aches and pains - itโs sounds amazing right?!
When you begin, you want to get to โYOUR GOALโ as quick as possible - no one wants to be on any diet for years (but we are ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ)
Road 1 - stick to plan, get the weight off, stay strong and strict with yourself - REMEMBER YOUR WHY - WHY you want the weight off..
If we HAD to stay on plan - Drโs orders, weโd do it!
Time taken 2 months (a stone a month, 2 stone gone!) Motivation stays strong, job done! ๐๐ผ
You arrive at โYOUR GOALโ๐
๐ I like to think of travelling this road in 6th gear the whole way!!! ๐
Road 2 - start off good, motivation weakens, you have days, nights out with friends because โI still want to liveโ.
You struggle to get back on track the following day. Weekly weighins come with more excuses than pounds off!
2 months on and youโre still chasing that first stone saying the diets โnot workingโ?!
If you keep messing about then you may get to โYOUR GOALโ in 6 months. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
๐ You travel this road constantly stalling, using more fuel!!! ๐
Road 3 - you want this โso badโ but canโt get through a full day without nibbling.
The excuses that come are endless, โthe diet is too expensiveโ and โitโs not workingโ or โI want to eatโ
You blame everyone but yourself.
Motivation is gone.
You never reach โYOUR GOALโ but you โtryโ again year after year.
๐You travel this road and breakdown - itโll cost you more than you thought! ๐
We ALL know the best way to do any diet - simply stick to it! Consistency works!
If you want to eat whilst on the 1.1 diet then stop punishing yourself by saying you canโt stick to plan as youโve chosen to follow the lower steps - dance around the plan, move up the steps, get your book out and pick the healthy options which will keep you on plan and motivated - the scales will still move in the right direction.
Cost wiseโฆ itโs actually cheaper to stick to plan than it is to keep messing about!
Stay focused, move up the steps to maintain, itโll keep the weight off.
If you do the plan, and donโt move up the steps, increasing your calorie intake then the weight will be back on quickly - 1.1 diet is tried and tested, itโs been medically researched - it works if you follow it correctly!!!
