So I've indulged over Xmas and I've slipped, who hasn't?! (If you haven't, I applaud you!)

But my skin is telling me, my tummy is telling me and my head is telling me... IT'S TIME.

You know that feeling when enough is enough and you realise only you can do something about how you are feeling? Yeah, that!!

SO MONDAY 2nd I'm starting a 6 week challenge!! 6 weeks on plan with a prizes on offer (as if reducing the number wasn't enough of an incentive!)

โœ… Yes, occasionally, but only if you are on step 3 or above.

โŽ Steps 1 and 2, no. Here's why.....

It's to do with the ingredients (like Citric Acid) in sugar free/diet drinks as it interferes with ketosis and brings on hunger pangs for some! Most sugar free drinks like Diet Coke contain it.

Although we aren't a ketosis diet, Steps 1 and 2 will naturally get you there which helps you lose the weight faster! We don't want anything knocking you out of ketosis ideally and we definately don't want you feeling hungry, do we?!

Our water flavourings have been designed to be compatible with the diet and ketosis so they are great on any step if you find plain old water a bit boring!

โš– Wow, what a busy week it's been!
1 new dieter and 3 returning dieters!!!

๐ŸŽ„All ready to smash it before Xmas!!!
Who else is ready?!?!

๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ My own weight loss journey started this time last year....

On the 1st November I started the diet on 'Step 1b'.

โœ… I lost a whopping 1 Stone 2lbs in 3 weeks!!

โœ… By 10th December I'd lost 1.5 Stone

๐Ÿฆƒ I then decided to relax a little until 28th December when I gained half a stone in turkey ๐Ÿฆƒ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

โœ… I restarted 28th Dec and lost 1 Stone 3lbs in 5 weeks.

๐Ÿ˜ฑ I was wholly on plan for 9.5 weeks and even with that half stone gain over Xmas, overall I'd lost 2 Stone!!!! ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ‰ I then went on to lose 3 stone in total and have maintained that with a 6lb tolerance ever since (meaning I still weigh in each week and won't allow myself to put more than 6lb back on - I really don't want to feel the way I did before I started this journey ever again!)

Warm up your evening with our cappuccino shake ๐Ÿซ˜

Here's how:

- Add a small amount of cool water & mix into a paste.
- Then add 200mls of almost boiling water & whisk to a smooth consistency.
- Add cinnamon for extra taste. Nutmeg works well too.

And so very simply, youโ€™ll have a perfect drinkโ€ฆ

Okโ€ฆ. Picture thisโ€ฆ. You want 2 stone off.

There are 3 roadsโ€ฆ. Each one will take you to a wonderful place called โ€œYOUR GOALโ€

So โ€œYOUR GOALโ€ is a place where you feel exuberant with the way you look and feel, happy that all your clothes fit, you feel like youโ€™ve been given a new lease of life as youโ€™re more active, less tired, have more energy, sleeping better and with no aches and pains - itโ€™s sounds amazing right?!

When you begin, you want to get to โ€œYOUR GOALโ€ as quick as possible - no one wants to be on any diet for years (but we are ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ)

Road 1 - stick to plan, get the weight off, stay strong and strict with yourself - REMEMBER YOUR WHY - WHY you want the weight off..
If we HAD to stay on plan - Drโ€™s orders, weโ€™d do it!
Time taken 2 months (a stone a month, 2 stone gone!) Motivation stays strong, job done! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
You arrive at โ€œYOUR GOALโ€๐Ÿ˜‡
๐ŸŽ I like to think of travelling this road in 6th gear the whole way!!! ๐ŸŽ

Road 2 - start off good, motivation weakens, you have days, nights out with friends because โ€œI still want to liveโ€.
You struggle to get back on track the following day. Weekly weighins come with more excuses than pounds off!
2 months on and youโ€™re still chasing that first stone saying the diets โ€œnot workingโ€?!
If you keep messing about then you may get to โ€œYOUR GOALโ€ in 6 months. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
๐Ÿš™ You travel this road constantly stalling, using more fuel!!! ๐Ÿš™

Road 3 - you want this โ€œso badโ€ but canโ€™t get through a full day without nibbling.
The excuses that come are endless, โ€œthe diet is too expensiveโ€ and โ€œitโ€™s not workingโ€ or โ€œI want to eatโ€
You blame everyone but yourself.
Motivation is gone.
You never reach โ€œYOUR GOALโ€ but you โ€˜tryโ€™ again year after year.
๐Ÿš™You travel this road and breakdown - itโ€™ll cost you more than you thought! ๐Ÿš™

We ALL know the best way to do any diet - simply stick to it! Consistency works!
If you want to eat whilst on the 1.1 diet then stop punishing yourself by saying you canโ€™t stick to plan as youโ€™ve chosen to follow the lower steps - dance around the plan, move up the steps, get your book out and pick the healthy options which will keep you on plan and motivated - the scales will still move in the right direction.

Cost wiseโ€ฆ itโ€™s actually cheaper to stick to plan than it is to keep messing about!
Stay focused, move up the steps to maintain, itโ€™ll keep the weight off.
If you do the plan, and donโ€™t move up the steps, increasing your calorie intake then the weight will be back on quickly - 1.1 diet is tried and tested, itโ€™s been medically researched - it works if you follow it correctly!!!
