Janna Clinical Reflexology It took her many years to develop and teach what is known today as Cranio-Sacral Reflexology (CSR)
CSR is a leap forward in the application of Reflexology.

Cranio-Sacral Reflexology
In a groundbreaking work Dr. Faure-Alderson has taken reflexology to a new level through the integration of Osteopathy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Reflexology. It harnesses the extraordinary potential of the creative brain to bring homeostasis and health through Reflexology. It is a non-invasive treatment with profound effect on a variety of system dysfunctions, particular

ly in the sphere of trauma and whiplash. Whatever the origin - physical, emotional or mental - a torsion of the meningeal membranes - enveloping the spinal cord- occurs. CSR is a therapeutic method combining the use of pressure on specific areas of the foot, which relate to the 12 cranial nerves and to the pulse of the Cerebro-Spinal Fluid (CSF) that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. The distinction between Cranio Sacral Therapy and CSR is that while the former accesses the CSF from the head, the latter can achieve that from a point in the foot, the hand and the head. CSR works in treating trauma and stress related conditions by balancing the distribution of CSF within the four ventricles of the brain. Pressure applied to the specific points on the feet stimulates and reharmonises the Cranial Rhythm-Primary Respiratory Movement (PRM). The movement of CSF can be felt in the feet as a pulse or a wave and is quite distinct from the pulse of the heart.
