Olivia has been with us a few months now, she joins Sarah and Paul completing our experienced Optometrist team at Park Lane 😊

Her favourite part of the job is refracting and she's a true perfectionist when it comes to numbers! 🤓

She plays on a netball team and is also really good at going to the gym! 😉

An interesting day out for Sarah today! Eyeballs and old Optical paraphernalia in the British Science Museum. Also a statue of St Lucy who seems to be the patron saint of eyeballs. She gouged out her own eyes to avoid the unwanted advances of a man!! 😲

Park Lane Opticians are very proud to be a finalist in the category of 'Frame Styling Practice of the Year 2025' at the National SightCare Awards earlier this week!

It's well deserved recognition for the hard work and commitment from our team over the last couple of years. We'd like to thank our wonderful clients for their support and our amazing niche suppliers for working with our small business!

We all got to listen to a great talk by Olympic Champion Sally Gunnell OBE at the end of the conference. Our boss (and Team GB cyclist many years ago!) Sarah, got a picture which totally made her day!!
