All my life, my deepest desire has been to help people.

From caring for stroke patients as a teenager.

To (briefly!) thinking in my 20s that I wanted to be a lawyer, fighting for justice - definitely not the right career choice for me!

To creating and growing my dream business, The Therapy Rooms in Macclesfield.

For the past 26 years, I’ve been proud to call myself an osteopath.
But as we go through life, our goals and passions evolve.

And now, mine are taking me in a new direction, one that still centres around helping people transform their health and their lives, just in a different way.

I’m now using everything I’ve learned over the last 25+ years to support people in a new role:

This has been quite a journey for me, and I have had to uplevel my skills and expertise, all in alignment with my new purpose.

Spent a great 3 hours with Dr Chatterjee at The Opera House in Manchester last night seeing his ‘Thrive’ tour.

My KEY TAKEAWAYS -

Mindset is the key to everything - I couldn’t agree more!

Cultivate an ‘I am the architect of my life’ mindset, not a ‘victim’ mindset.

We need to do more things that bring us joy in life.

If we live in alignment with our values, we feel less stress and more inner peace.

To create a new habit we need to -
make it easy
Add it on to another habit you already have
Make the environment right for you to do the thing.

We overcomplicate health.

Where do you want to invest your time and energy?

True wealth is knowing what is enough.

Trust yourself more - stop giving your power away to other ‘experts’.

If you’re not sure what diet/exercise/health advice etc to follow, try the activity/advice for 30 days and see how you feel, then try a different approach and see how you feel after another 30 days.

Choose discomfort, even when you don’t have to (eg always take the stairs).

What absolute pearls of wisdom!
