Have you thought about a career in care? A rewarding role where you can help support people in the community to stay living at home for as long as possible. You will become important people in the lives of our clients and have the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting others through a possibly hard time.

Often clients are needing a companion, someone to offload and talk to while spending meaningful time completing the care tasks.

Here at Visiting Angels Cheshire East our Angel Carers can support your loved ones with all manner of tasks, from Personal care and Medication management, to Household tasks and Companionship. Whatever it may be, our Carers are here to support and help. We also provide a lift service to assist clients to and from social outings and appointments.

Our minimum 1 hour care visits ensure that carers have plenty of time to complete all tasks for that visit. Your loved ones also get to choose a carer to complete all of their care visits, this provides a continuity of care which is crucial for people.

Biddulph Methodist Church holds a great coffee morning every Friday mornings, last week was my first day (of hopefully many more) volunteering days at the coffee mornings. Had so much fun going back to my waitressing days getting to chat to people while on the job! They have great stalls and refreshments and biscuits, what more could you want 😁

So me and my Mum (mainly my Mum) spent a few hours this weekend knitting these poppies for at the Co-op FuneralCare in Macclesfield. Popped in today to hand them in so she can donate them towards the British Royal Legion Appeal 🌹

** Exciting job vacancy**

We are currently on the lookout for 2 Caregivers to join our team to care specifically for one client.

The vacancy will be for 4 visits a day, 7 days a week, these visits will require 2 Caregivers at all times.

The client will also need 2-3 days a week of block hours with 1 Caregiver.

So last weeks perfect weather had us out networking in Macclesfield, and while out we popped into St Michael & All Angels Church to hand deliver these handmade scarfs courtesy of my lovely Mum! They are currently seeking scarf donations towards there "lets knit a scarf to keep the church warm" project. We had a lovely chat with Elaine and Isobel, will definitely be back with more scarfs soon, about to go and perfect my own knitting skills so I can knit some myself as well 😀

At Visiting Angels Cheshire East we're proud to announce we are newly registered with CQC (Care Quality Commission)!! This means we can now provide all types of regulated care for our clients, this can be anything from cleaning to medication to full personal care.
