This week we had a lovely trip out with our apartment tenants for a festive pub Christmas dinner. It was wonderful to get everyone together, enjoy some delicious food, share a few laughs, and soak up the Christmas spirit.

Thank you to the pub staff for making us feel so welcome, and to everyone who helped make the day such a success. Moments like these really show how special our community is 💖

A big thank you to the Prestbury School Choir for visiting and performing a great selection of Christmas songs for our residents. The children sang brilliantly and brought plenty of festive spirit!

✨ What a magical day at our Christmas Market! ✨

Yesterday Belong Macclesfield was filled with festive cheer as residents, families, and friends gathered for a truly special Christmas Market.

🎩 We were delighted to be joined by Ian McCoy. A lovely gentleman and world class magician who absolutely wowed everyone with his incredible tricks—smiles and gasps of amazement could be heard all afternoon!

🎅 Santa’s grotto was a huge hit too, with Santa taking the time to chat and spread plenty of Christmas joy.

🎶 Our visiting singers and musicians created the perfect festive atmosphere with beautiful performances that had everyone humming along.

🥤🥖 And of course, the treats! Our bistro served delicious Christmas milkshakes and warm baguettes, which were enjoyed by all.

A special shout-out to our amazing staff, who worked incredibly hard preparing and running their stalls—your creativity and effort truly paid off and made the market shine.

🛍️ We were also delighted by the beautiful handcrafted items brought by our traders, offering everyone the chance to pick up some lovely Christmas gifts.

Last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers who generously gave up their time to help make the extra special —we couldn’t have done it without you!

The magic of Christmas is definitely alive at Belong! ✨❤️

Belong Macclesfield offers 18 self-contained apartments for independent living and six supported ‘households’ with modern en-suite bedrooms and open plan lounge and kitchen areas. Each Belong village encompasses a vibrant hub for community activities, with facilities that include a licensed bistro, hair salon and exercise studio. Our village model is a stunning example of how advanced design and very high standards of care can provide a new quality of life for older people. Belong households represent a radically different alternative to conventional care homes. We operate with a higher-than-average staffing ratio and a maximum of 12 residents per household, offering a family atmosphere where customers can build lasting relationships with staff and other residents. Our specially trained support and nursing staff are available around the clock to support individuals with dementia and those residents who require clinical care.
