• Pregnancy Massage (This massage calms you a baby relieving those pregnancy related aches and pains, preparing your body and mind for labour and motherhood. Suitable for pregnant women in their 2nd and 3rd Trimester and after you have had your 12 week scan.)
• Swedish Massage - Traditional style massage
• Hot Stone Massage - heated basalt stones are used to massage your body, de-stressing you relieving your tired muscles
• Warm Bamboo Massage - warm bamboo sticks are rolled over your body giving an even pressure across the whole muscle, aids in deep relaxation and to aid in good sleep patterns
• Indian Head Massage - A massage on your head neck and shoulders, aids in relieving of stress headaches and congestion, amazing for relaxation.
• Sports or Deep Tissue Massage - Targets painful restricted areas to ease tension and increase you range of movement for better performance and reduction in discomfort
• Runner's Gait Analysis - A full body analysis of you running to predict any potential injuries and to help improve your running gait so you can run with confidence, injury and pain free improving your speed and muscular endurance.
• Myofascial Cupping - Special suction cups are placed on your body to releive and release tension in your fascia giving you a better range of movement and reduction in pain, Please note these do leave red/purple marks on your skin that can last up to approx 26 days
• Deep Oscillation Therapy - Electrostatic massage. Can be used for a whole host of reasons, ranging from injury pain, nerve pain, Fibromalagia, post op pain, swelling, oedema, Lymphoedema and Lipoedema, reduction in scar tissue and so much more!
• Scar Therapy - A treatment to address your scars that are troubling you. Together we find out what it is you want to achieve with your scar treatment. Scar therapy can visibly improve the scar, give you better range of movement and decrease any pain or over sensitive areas.
• Measuring for compression garments - A service to be measured for compression garments for either to purchase or to get on prescription. I can also advise what I feel is the best compression garment for you as well. This could be for a surgery you are about to undergo or to manage your lymphoedema and Lipoedema
• Manual Lymphatic Drainage - A massage to stimulate the Lymphatic system to aid in the reduction of Oedema, swelling, pain and discomfort often associated with conditions like Lymphoedema, Lipoedema, cancer patients and people who have recently had surgery including cosmetic surgery.
• Lipoedema Clinical Assessment - This is a clinical assessment to determine if you have Lipoedema or any other fat disorder. If beneficial to you I will measure you for compression garments which you'll be able to get on prescription. You will get a full detailed report emailed to you for your records and it can be medically recorded too. In the appointment i will check for lymphatic, circulatory issues, palpate your arms and legs, and ask lots of questions to see if you fit the criteria. You will get lots of support from me no matter the outcome of the assessment. I'm always looking at studying further to gain new skills to provide you the best experience! Before your treatment we will do a consultation where I find out what you would like, your needs and your expectations, so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, everything remains confidential! Please arrive on time. If you arrive late for your appointment, you may have a shorter massage as I will have other clients booked in for the day. However, should this be the case, you will still be required to pay the full amount. If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please let me know ASAP with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Should you fail to show for an appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, YOU WILL STILL BE CHARGED IN FULL FOR YOUR MISSED APPOINTMENT!! It is mandatory I ask you to fill in your consultation form ASAP after making your first appointment to secure it. No form, no appointment. If you are having technical difficulties with filling in the form please contact me ASAP. There is always a solution. You may be required to fill it in when you arrive, but this will shorten your massage time on the couch. At Body Tune Therapy I DO NOT expect to be made to feel uncomfortable or to have any sexual requests made. You are to wear underwear at all times.
