Our Story
I am a Craniosacral and Soft Tissue Therapist with 20 years of experience of working with the body.
As a BTEC level 5 Soft Tissue Therapist I am trained to work with the soft tissues of the body to aid healing, improve function, ease restriction, optimise performance and generally help you feel more comfortable in your body no matter what age you are or how you use your body. Soft tissue therapy isn’t massage although massage is one of the tools I use. I also work with the fascia, the nervous system and most importantly with you as a person in order to get you feeling better.
Craniosacral therapy has its origins in osteopathy and is a gentle hands on treatment performed through clothing. Our bodies respond to the lightest of touches and craniosacral therapy works particularly with the nervous system to help restore homeostasis or balance. It can be profoundly relaxing and can help with stress, tension and anxiety and addressing old patterns of holding in the body. Our emotions are held in the tissues of our body and craniosacral work can help us gently access and release some of the emotions and patterns that build up over our lifetimes and often hold us back from living life to the full.
