We are currently looking for GDC registered, fully qualified Dental Nurses to join our existing team on full time basis.

The successful candidates will be friendly, caring, highly organised, be team players with a can-do attitude, flexible, have strong communication skills, be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be computer literate.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Hummel will resume facial aesthetics treatments from the 3rd December. Want to smooth away your lines and wrinkles? Scared of looking ‘frozen’ or unnatural? There is no need to be! 🤗 This patient had never had any cosmetic treatments previously. She wanted to look more fresh, but natural. Her lines and wrinkles were softened whilst maintaining some movement of the muscles to keep a natural looking appearance. 😊

This lovely lady wanted to look more fresh and youthful, whilst keeping the results looking natural and subtle. We achieved this with 1ml of filler in the cheeks to replace lost volume, and a further 1ml in the nose to mouth lines and under corners of the mouth (marionettes). The photos are immediately after treatment (fresh off the needle). Filler doesn’t need to look ‘done’ or ‘overinflated’. Small amounts of filler strategically placed can leave you looking fresh and ‘well’, and like a more youthful version of yourself!

CoVid-19 Patient Information

We are really pleased to be able to welcome patients back to the practice. We have redesigned the way that we will look after you to reflect the current risk levels of CoVid-19 so that we can deliver care in the safest way possible for you and our team. As a result of these changes your visit may feel different but rest assured the same enthusiastic and caring team are still here to look after you.

Before Your Appointment

Please do not attend the practice without an appointment. If you would like to make an appointment please telephone the practice where our team will guide you through the process. This will include:-
- Updating your medical history including questions relating to CoVid-19.
- What to expect on the day of your appointment

On the day of your appointment

1. Before you arrive at the practice, we advise that you have been to the bathroom and are hydrated. We cannot provide refreshments in the practice and we need to limit the use of our toilet facilities as much as possible.
2. Please arrive alone unless it is a child attending with a parent/guardian or you are someone vulnerable who requires carer assistance.
3. Due to social distancing the waiting room will not be in use. Please wait in your car and we will call you when we are ready for you (don’t forget your mobile phone, if you don’t have one we will make alternative arrangements).
4. You will be directed to the appropriate entrance. Please leave all non-essential items in your car.
5. One of the team will open the door for you and ask you to use a hand sanitizer. You will notice the team wearing extra PPE. We apologise if this may appear impersonal but don’t worry, it’s still us underneath!
6. When your treatment is complete you will be asked to sanitise your hands again and return to your car.
7. Please wait in your car where we will call you to make your next appointment and take payment where required.
The changes that we have made are to ensure the safety of our patients and the team. We are looking forward to seeing all our patients again and thank you for your understanding at this difficult and unprecedented time.

COVID-19 Notice 01/06/2020

As you will know Dental Practices will be able to open from 8th June. Although it was announced at the Prime Ministers press conference last Thursday, for the Dental profession it has come out of the blue as only that morning the Chief Dental Officer of England said that no date had been set.

We are planning a phased return at the practice:

1) Priority patients who have had problems during lock down but have been able to wait for us to reopen. These initial appointments may be for temporary treatment only.

2) Routine examination and cleaning appointments.

3) Regular treatment such as filling, crowns etc.

If you have had a problem during lockdown however small, and have not spoken to the practice yet and would like to be on our priority list when we reopen please contact the practice by phone on 01625 425309.

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE WITHOUT AN ARRANGED APPOINTMENT.

We are continuing making preparations for the new normal at the practice. There will be a COVID medical history, temperature check on arrival, increased appointment times to reduce patient numbers in the practice and enhanced PPE in the surgeries. Many countries have continued dentistry as usual, including Germany, and there have been no reported COVID transmission in the Dental context.

We cannot wait to return to the work that we love and we look forward to welcoming back all our loyal and valued patients.
