Hello folks!

So as of Monday Ishbel will be working from this location.

I'll email everyone booked in next week.

For acupuncture, physiotherapy and myofascial release appointments please continue to book in via the Caledonian Holistic Therapies website, currently in transition and I'll update when it all moves over.

So there's some changes afoot here at CHT, and we have made the decision to go our separate ways.

This is a super exciting time for us both with Ishbel heading off to Naked Revive to carry on her amazing work, and I'll be concentrating on the Canine side of my business, with few human treatments thrown in for good measure.

For now September will be a change over month and we can still be contacted via socials or the website.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to all our clients and we couldn't have done any of this without you 💜

The Body and Sole is moving home, as of the 5th April we are moving to Merryfield Business Centre in Macmerry. We are joining the amazing Caledonian Holistic Therapies and will be sharing their space.

Come on lighter nights!

Feeling motivated to get back to running after a break over winter in account of the rainy, cold and darkness.

Running has been a big part of my physical recovery along with finding Nic at Bounce New Winton for the physical reconditioning. I must also give a big shout out to Ishbel at Caledonian Holistic Therapies who has been absolutely fundamental in my recovery journey. So grateful to have found the right people to motivate and inspire me on this long recovery journey.

I wanted to share a moment of wisdom from my daughter (age 7) this morning

'The enemy of pain is happiness'

My brain was blown 🤯🤯

I have been suffering back pain since Tues and had a debilitating spasm on Thurs (the type where you can't out of bed 😪)

It's been a few days of heavy duty pain killers 🤢 never make me feel good. Amazing hypnosis from Dr Louisa Pieterse and hands on treatment from Body Needs , lots of self myofascial release (more on the coming soon) and exercises it's never just one thing with pain!

But the simplicity of that statement struck me this morning. So I decided instead of naproxen I baked with my daughter (yummy chocolate muffins and soup) used my doterra blue stick and so far no pain killers. I'm not anti drugs, they definitely helped me get out of bed on thurs!

Of course it isn't always this simple but let's see how happiness works as an antidote to pain! 😄😄
