Looking for a foliar N with nearly 100% uptake, zero scorch? 🥔🌽
Cobb Agri supply EfficieNt 28, a liquid foliar nitrogen fertiliser based on urea polymers of variable lengths. The more complex the chains, the slower they break down, resulting in a phased release of Nitrogen over a total of 4 to 6 weeks.
There are a number of foliar nitrogen products on the market, when comparing it is important to look at the free urea content of each product, the more free urea there is, the greater the tendency to scorch and be lost to the atmosphere!
In practice, an average 40% of applied granular Nitrogen is not utilised by the plant and can be lost to the soil or atmosphere. In trials with solid fertilisers, the best achievable Nitrogen efficiency is still only 60% - 80%. EfficieNt 28 has almost 100% uptake, is applied straight to its target and is in a form that the plant can use straight away.
Many years of trials across most crops has shown that 7 kg of nitrogen from EfficieNt-28 (20 L/ha) will do the work of 40 kg of nitrogen from granular fertilisers (i.e. 116 kg ammonium nitrate or 87 kg of urea per hectare) giving the same yield and quality.
The “sticky” nature of EfficieNt 28 makes it an ideal tank-mix companion for fungicides too!!
