With the current situation with availability, could Fibrophos be an option for your P and K requirements? 🚜

Fibrophos is a bulk P & K fertiliser containing both secondary and trace elements. fibrophos is derived from the incineration of deep litter poultry manure, which is used as a fuel for electricity power stations, the product is therefore a renewable nutrient source.

Fibrophos has the advantage of being able to release nutrients, especially phosphate and potash steadily over time, helping to build up soil indices.

The 1st of April is fast approaching! 🌱🚜☀️ Have you thought about inhibitor?

After April 1st, the use of unprotected urea is restricted in England, and audited through the Red Tractor assurance scheme.

This applies to solid bagged urea and also UAN liquid applications!

We are stocking AdvaNShield NBPT containing the active urease inhibitor, NBPT for UAN

Get prepared for spring liming when ground conditions finally allow! 🚜☀️🌱🍀

Cobb Agri provide pH testing with lime sourcing and spreading services. The team use a network of quarries and trusted contractors, we can help source bulk agricultural lime or granular lime.

We'll be out spreading before spring cropping and across grassland. We're also using annual soil test results coming in to plant lime spreading onto the stubbles before planting at harvest!!

We're also happy to help out with granular lime recommendations and sourcing direct from the factory, granular lime will suit poorer pH's that need to be improved fast before/for the 2026 crop! (especially fields going to beet, spring barley and maize this spring!)

The correct soil pH increases the availability of minerals and trace elements essential for plant growth and productivity through increased plant health, quality and yield.

Fertilisers and manure cannot be fully effective if the ground is not at optimum pH.

Origin's Sweetgrass range is a high-N grassland fertiliser specifically designed to increase sward palatability and maximise milk and meat production from grass for optimum economic returns.

Already bought your straight nitrogen but didn’t think about sulphur? 🌱🚜

Have you considered PotashpluS (37K 20SO3 2.4MgO 7CaO) or Polysulphate (14K 48SO3 6MgO 17CaO)?

They are both a low carbon footprint option of adding sulphur without increasing nitrogen and accurately spread up to 36m.

PotashpluS is specifically formulated using the combination of MOP and Polysulphate for a higher potash product.

Unlike other sulphurs, they are available from day one but its slow-release characteristics allow the plant access to sulphur up to 55 days after application minimising risk of leaching and giving the best match to crop uptake.

Mined in the North Yorkshire Moors, Polysulphate® is organic-approved, British produced, and has a low carbon footprint. It is perfect for both arable and grassland crops, and can be used alongside nitrogen to improve the nitrogen use efficiency.
