Welsh Blood Service are holding a blood donation session in Tesco Maesteg on May 19th.

They currently have a high amount of appointments remaining so are calling on staff at the hospital to help us and save lives.

At present only 3% of the population donate blood. Each donation will save three lives or six premature babies. It’s such a wonderful way to support your community and help save lives all over Wales. The blood donations that we collect supply 19 hospitals in Wales and in April,  we supplied Princess of Wales Hospital 147 units of blood.
