Hope you are keeping well and spending a happy Easter at home. Below is an easy-to-follow video of a 10-minute exercise called ๅ…ซๆฎต้”ฆ(Baduanjin) suitable for all, except during pregnancy.

The exercise helps to build lung capacity and promote general relaxation; a thousand year breathing exercise to help strengthen the immune system.

Keep your breathing slow and relaxed - you do not need to inhale too deeply.

In upward motions breathe in, and breathe out when your hands come down. ๐Ÿƒ

We do this once or twice everyday at anytime, and it can be done anywhere!

What to expect on your first visit to Dr Shangโ€™s Acupuncture

When you first arrive, we will perform an initial consultation and tell you about the range of treatments available at our clinic best suited to your needs. Once in the treatment room, we check your pulse and tongue to give a TCM diagnosis. Dr Yang is giving this patient acupuncture treatment for her elbow pain, followed by Tuina massage in her upper back and shoulder area to relieve back pain. We also have herbal capsules and slimming tea, which can help with treatment and promote general well-being.
