24th June 2025

The family of the late Tommy Lamont, 7 Lough Hill, Tobermore would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
We would like to thank those who attended the wake and the funeral service, sent cards and messages of sympathy and kindly donated in lieu of flowers to Marie Curie Nursing.
Special thanks to all the staff at Coronary Care Unit at Causeway Hospital who cared for Tommy during his illness.
Sincere thanks to the Reverend Jonathan and the Reverend Eleanor for their pastoral care both at home and during his time at the Causeway Hospital and for conducting the funeral service and all those who helped set up the church hall and served the refreshments.
Finally, we would like to thank Helen, Kristy and all the staff at D Watters Funeral Services for the help, care and compassion shown to us during this difficult time and for carrying out all the arrangements in a dignified and professional manner.
We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and thanks to everyone.

The Family of the late Noel Whyte, 10 Hervey Hill Road, Kilrea, would like to thank everyone who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement.
Grateful thanks to the family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake, church service, sent cards and messaged.
We would sincerely thank the first responders, the doctors and nurses at causeway hospital, their help was very much appreciated.
Thanks to the Rev Richard Morrison at Churchtown Presbyterian Church for his support and a meaningful church service.
Many thanks to those who kindly gave donations to the family’s chosen charity.
Finally we would like to thank Helen and all the staff at D. Watters Funeral Services for their professional guidance and support through this difficult time.

Acknowledgement for the late Mrs Agnes Henderson

We, the family of the late Agnes Henderson, wish to express our sincere thanks to all who offered support and sympathy to us during our recent sad bereavement.
To all who expressed their condolences, attended the funeral service, called at the family homes, sent cards and messages of sympathy, brought food and flowers to family during the wake, or offered words of comfort in any way - your kindness has been very much appreciated.
A special word of thanks to Agnes’ dear friends and extended family who took the time to visit her both at home and in hospital. Your presence brought great comfort to us all.
We are especially grateful to the ladies of the Home Care Trust for their devoted care and kindness to Agnes and to the staff of Garden Street Surgery, McGlaughlins Pharmacy and Musgrave Park Hospital for their medical support over the years.
Sincere thanks also to the Doctors and Nurses of Ward A7, Antrim Area Hospital, for their gentle and attentive care given to Agnes and the kindness shown to our family during her time there.
We wish to thank Rev. Trevor Boyd for pastoral support offered to both Agnes and our family and conducting the funeral service.
Thanks to all who kindly donated in lieu of flowers to Life Beyond, to Mervyn Ewing for playing during the service, to Edith Blair and her team for providing refreshments after the funeral, and finally to Helen, Kristy and staff at Desmond Watters Funeral Services for carrying out the funeral arrangements in such a professional, caring and dignified manner.

Acknowledgement for the late Mr Samuel Brown

The Family of the late Samuel Brown, Moneymore would like to sincerely thank all those friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. To those who attended the wake at the home, sent cards or messages of sympathy, telephoned, brought gifts, attended the funeral or helped in any way.
Sincere thanks to everyone who gave donations in Sammy’s memory to Lecumpher Presbyterian Church and Drop Inn Ministries.
A special word of thanks to Rev Ashley Graham for conducting the services in the home, Church and graveside, also the musicians: the organist and pianist – John and Moira Barfoot. Also a special thanks to the piper Jacob, Sammy’s Grandson, who accompanied the remains at the home and Church.
A big thank you to the Ladies of Lecumpher Church for the lovely tea provided in the Church hall and to the Men of the Church who carried out parking and ushering duties.
A special thank you to all those who ministered to Sammy, both physically and spiritually during his illness. To Rev Ashley Graham who called so often at the home and hospital to encourage and pray for Sammy and the family and to remind us of how our Church family were also praying for us all. To all our Church friends who visited, phoned and messaged enquiring about Sammy and assuring us of their prayers.
Sincere thanks to all the District Nurses:- Karen (O.T.), Eilis, the Hospice Nurse and to the Marie Curie Nurses who all did everything they possibly could to make Sammy more comfortable at home. We will also never forget Dr. Abas from Mid Ulster Health Care who was so kind and caring towards Sammy. Thanks also to all the Reception Staff and Treatment Room Nurses for all their kindness and help, to Moneymore Pharmacy; Stephen and all the Staff who helped in every way they could and to N.I. Ambulance Staff and the Doctors and Nurses of Antrim Area Hospital for their excellent care during Sammy’s illness.
Thank you to Gillian, Margaret, Molly and Chaela who came to help with the tea at the wake. It was very much needed and appreciated.
Our heartfelt thanks to Helen and all the Staff at D. Watters Funeral Services for the professional and caring manner shown to us during this difficult time as they carried out the funeral arrangements.
