Chair of the Mid Ulster Group Susan expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the generous contribution, noting that the support will make a meaningful difference to people living with MS and their families across the local area. Community generosity like this helps the group continue providing vital services, support, and advocacy for those affected by multiple sclerosis.

Our very own committee member Margaret spoke today at Magherafelt High School to raise awareness about MS and our group.

Staff member Miss Simpson is running the Belfast Marathon and raising money for our group, MS Society, Mid Ulster Group. This money will go to supporting local people suffering with MS.

Thank you to Magherafelt High School for supporting Miss Simpson and our group. We really appreciate your support.

A huge thank you to Mary McKeever along with Anne-Marie and Colm McCoy for fundraising a massive £1,500 for the MS Society Mid Ulster Group.
The Tumbledown have been longtime supporters of our group, with customers also donating £166.33 in our donation box.

🧠 MS Mid Ulster Group – Invitation

You're warmly invited to a special talk hosted by the MS Mid Ulster Group on the topic of:

Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Treatment
Speaker: Shona Pryde, Belfast Trust
🗓 Date: Friday, 19th September
🕖 Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Venue: Greenvale Leisure Centre, Magherafelt

Shona Pryde will share insights into the use of *FES* – a treatment used to help improve mobility in people with MS and other neurological conditions.

This event is free and open to the public. Whether you're living with MS, supporting someone who is, or simply interested in learning more about this therapy, please come along. Drop us a DM if you plan on attending for room set-up.

The room will be open from 6.30pm to 8.30pm for an opportunity to socialise and have a cuppa.
