Hi I’m Shauna! Many of you will know me as but I’m so excited to be able to fulfil my dream of branching out into medical tattooing.I qualified as a Pharmacist in 2004 which is also when I first discovered the world of permanent makeup after getting my own brows microbladed. With my medical background I was instantly drawn to how this treatment could help so many people suffering with scars, alopecia and cancer and knew I had to train in it one day. That one day came 12 years later in 2016 when I took my first permanent makeup course in Microblading. Offering semi permanent brow services meant I was able to help many people with alopecia and cancer but I always intended to train further in medical tattoo treatments. As demand grew for my semi permanent brow services alongside practicing Pharmacy, I had less time to think about training in medical tattooing and the idea got shelved!However, at WULOP Ireland 2023 I was instantly captivated by one of the stage speakers Bianca Festjo and the story behind her brand NUE CONCEAL. Again I got that same excited feeling I got back in 2004 (which I now know to be intuition) and I knew I needed to train in this amazing technique! 7 months later I was telling my husband about it and how I wanted to train with Bianca herself so I would need to travel to America where she is based. Literally the next day Bianca contacted me asking me to be one of only five official Nue Conceal trainers for Europe! After completing my training with Bianca in London and seeing the permanent and often life changing results of this treatment for myself, I’m now delighted to be able to bring this training to the island of Ireland, and I look forward to being your trainer😊
