Magherafelt Chiropractic Clinic Chiropractors Eileen Keenan and Niall Keenan. Clinic opened in 1993. What does a Doctor of Chiropractic do? Chiropractors work on all parts of the spine.

The nerves that go to every part of our body come from the spine. Sometimes the bones (vertebrae) of the spine move out of position and press on these nerves. This can cause pain and symptoms in different parts of our bodies. A Doctor of Chiropractic is trained to locate these problems in the spine, and correct them, so the patient can be healthy and feel good. I wish to clearly define what i do and what i do not do in this office, so that you may be sure of your and my responsibilities in this exciting relationship. We recognise that there is an intelligence within each individual which not only keeps us alive, but coordinates, repairs, renews and heals every cell of the body. We recognise that the nervous system is a main coordinating system and distribution centre for this life power. We recognise that spinal (vertebral) subluxations interfere with the flow of this life power. We recognise that proper coordination, repair, healing, locomotion, motivation and genetic potential can not be expressed when this life power is blocked. We recognise that chiropractic adjustments release the interference to the nerve system increasing its capacity to carry this life power
