This week saw the end of our Volunteer Wellbeing 6 week Yoga with the lovely Anne.

The workshops were a great opportunity for Volunteers and those working with Volunteers to take a moment for them. A thank you to the Public Health Agency and Cwsan MidUlster for supporting this Project. Also thank you to Linwoods Healthfoods for supplying some items for our wellbeing packs given to everyone who finished the 6 weeks..

Blue Monday was in fact made up by a travel company as a marketing ploy to sell more holidays Unfortunately Depression doesnโ€™t pick one day of the year to be worse than another. In actual fact it doesn't care what day and lasts more than a day. If you are feeling low please contact your GP or did you know AWARE NI is the Depression Charity for Northern Ireland. AWARE NI has an established network of 24 support groups across the country alongside online support group options. Support groups welcome people with low mood, anxiety, depression and bipolar as well as carers for people with mental ill-health. We also deliver information outreach sessions and attend community events to give more information about AWARE and our services.
