2026 has arrived, as always time never stops.

Welcome the New Year ahead gently, we have all had a different journey to arrive here.

We are still in winter so it’s important to slow down, exhale, pause & be.

So grateful to have been gifted a beautiful book by one of my yogis called Namaste Blessings by which I adore, here is one for today:
“The Divine in me
acknowledges the Divine in You.
I bow to you and honour your inner light of pure and unconditional love.
Eternal peace be with you.
Eternal love be with you.
Eternal joy be with you.

As the new year approaches, you might feel pressure to set goals, make resolutions, or “transform” yourself overnight.

But you don’t need to become a “new you” in January.

You’re allowed to take small steps. You’re allowed to bring parts of yourself with you. You’re allowed to simply be.

Our Senior Yoga Teacher Anne is leading Yoga in a project with Mid Ulster Volunteer Centre especially for Volunteers within the Community. 🕉️🧘‍♂️🙏

🌻Yoga with Anne - Volunteer Wellbeing Project, supported by the Public Health Agency & Cwsan MidUlster

As part of our Volunteer Wellbeing Project, we are offering Volunteers and those working with Volunteers in our community a chance to take a moment, and find some time for them to relax with our New Year 6-week lunchtime Yoga workshops starting on Monday 5 January 2026 🧘‍♀️

📌Priority will be given to Volunteers and those working with Volunteers. Cost FREE - Booking Essential📌

Enjoy the slow days 💛

As more people begin posting their plans ahead of the new year, with content about diets, exercise, building habits and becoming “that girl” (or guy) floods our grids and FYPs we can feel overwhelmed or pressured to do the same.

You don’t have to have everything planned for 2026, and we think that the person you are right now without the trending health wellness fads is pretty great.
