Then we will 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗿𝗲 you (figuratively speaking) to nudge you away from unhelpful thought patterns.

Then, with continued support to change your behaviours, you will change how you think and feel and 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 towards whatever it is you want to achieve.

I do have some (limited) availability, but most people are asking about starting in September. Which is fine. I’ve opened up a bit of a list for people to contact towards the end of August for a September start.

Just because you don’t look anxious, doesn’t mean your brain isn’t running in survival mode.

Most of the people I work with aren’t falling apart.

They’re getting on with it.

They seem fine — calm, competent, in control.But behind the scenes, their mind never switches off.

Always planning.

Always replaying.

Always on.

𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 — 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻.

You’re still turning up at work (but you hate it).

Sometimes, it’s easier to understand something by first getting clear on what it doesn’t do.

So, here is my take on what we won’t do to help you overcome your anxiety:

Yes, I need to understand what’s brought you to therapy initially, but after our first conversation, it’s all about moving forwards. We’ll focus on positive, practical steps towards your goals, not dwelling on what’s behind you.

❌ 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗲𝘇𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝗼𝘅:
Every client I see is unique, and that’s exactly how you’re treated. Our work is tailored specifically to you—no textbooks or labels dictating how you ‘should’ think or feel.

❌ 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
There’s no fixed limit on how many appointments you can have. You’ll only have as many as you genuinely need—and YOU get to decide.

Here’s what would’ve actually helped:

▪ Taking time to properly pause and figure out what was fuelling the stress
▪ Tracking what drained me daily — not just physically, but mentally
▪ Creating small, repeatable habits instead of waiting to feel “ready”
▪ Learning how to downshift my nervous system, not just power through

No, it’s not.

Time can heal — if you use it.
But time alone? It just gives you more hours to sit with the same thoughts, the same habits, the same overload.

If you want to be passive, wait it out, and hope something magically shifts — that’s your call.
But here’s the truth: if nothing changes… nothing changes.

And deep down, you know that already.
You just need a plan. Support. Accountability.
