We currently have space for 2 new residents at our Nursing Home, Longlea.

This can be 2 individual residents or it is possible to accommodate a couple by converting the room. Nestled in the heart of Berkshire, in the village of Fifield.

The home is designed to accommodate up to 22 people, mostly on the ground floor with just 5 rooms on the 1st floor accessed by a large touch button passenger lift.

At Atkinsons Private Nursing Homes, we pride ourselves on being a family-first care group.

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join the team for 3 nights (36 hours) per week at our Nursing Home, Longlea.

Nestled in the Berkshire village of Fifield

Who we're looking for:

• A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding your professional development

• You're passionate about caring for the elderly and have a natural, family-oriented mindset for helping people maintain their independence, choice and dignity

• An effective and empathetic communicator who's able to build strong and authentic relationships with residents and the people they care about

• A willingness to coach, guide and support your team

Note:

RGNs should have up to date nursing skills, experience and practice in elderly care, preferably in a residential or hospital setting. Will be required to attend training courses. Must have a valid PIN from the NMC.

Welcome to the official Longlea Nursing Home page!

We (the Atkinsons Home Group) acquired the home in 1989 and completely remodelled to bring it up to standard. The home can accommodate up to 22 residents at any one time.
