The lovely thing about working for People To Places and Shopmobility is seeing the positive change we make to peoples lives on a daily basis.

Seeing someone get on a mobility scooter for the first time and having a day out shopping, a nice lunch with friends or just getting some fresh air with family you can see their confidence returning.

If you have a relative, friend or neighbour who you think could benefit perhaps you could help them to overcome any self doubts or self consciousness and bring them along to one of our centres. Here in The Alma Road Coach Park in Windsor or in The Nicholsons Shopping Centre in Maidenhead. One of our experienced, friendly staff will take the time to make sure a new user leaves us full of confidence on the way to gaining back some independence.

This was me on a scooter at The Gravity Grand Prix on a very wet day in September raising awareness and much needed funding for the work that we do. Help us to help others by spreading the word.

Here at Windsor Shopmobility we have a wide selection of mobility scooters and wheelchairs to help local residents get out and about. £25 per year membership allows you access all year round. We have free onsite parking with easy access to Alexandra Gardens, the riverside and the town centre. If you have restricted mobility and find Windsor's cobbles and hills too much you can regain your independence with one of our mobility scooters. We give full training, carefully take you through how to use a scooter safely and away you go.

We also have portable scooters that will fit in the back of a family car to allow you to visit Savile Gardens, Virginia Water, Lego Land or any other local attraction that just feels too much right now.

People to Places has opened a brand-new charity shop in our Shopmobility Maidenhead store in the Nicholsons Centre, Maidenhead.
The shop is now open from Monday to Saturday, 9:30am–4:30pm and offers a great selection of donated goods. Whether you’re browsing for a bargain or clearing out clutter, every item donated and every pound spent helps support our community transport services across the Royal Borough.
How you can help:
• Donate items: We welcome good-quality clothing, homeware, books and more
• Visit us during opening hours and spread the word
• Volunteer: We’re always looking for extra help in the shop

📢 Maidenhead Shopmobility Car Park Update 📢

We’re excited to announce that the new Nicholsons Shopping Centre car park will open on Friday, 6th December!

The car park offers direct access to the shopping centre and there are 5 parking bays reserved for Shopmobility members in addition to 5 disabled bays. Our new Shopmobility store is conveniently located near the entrance from the car park, making it easily accessible for everyone.

At Shopmobility we offer a hire service for mobility equipment, for both local residents of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and visitors.
We have Shopmobility locations in Windsor and Maidenhead and volunteers are key to providing cover to keep the shops open and providing training and assistance.
