Although my father was the one having the care (due to dementia and mobility issues following a fall), the Carers were a great support for my mother too as she felt quite isolated due to my father's dementia. The Carers all recognised this and ensured they chatted to my mum. We were all so pleased with the service and would recommend Right at Home to anyone.”

Yesterday, we had the amazing opportunity to take some of our Clients out on the River Thames.
We sailed off from the River & Rowing Museum, led by Lucy from Rivertime Boat Trust, she showed us a variety of landmarks and delivered some very interesting facts about the history of the river. We even enjoyed a sneak peek at the set up for the Traditional Thames Boat Festival. 🛥️

We're thrilled to be heading out on another unforgettable boat trip this Thursday, 17th July, for a scenic journey to Henley with the amazing Rivertime Boat Trust - something we've loved since last year 🧡

Eight of our wonderful clients will be joining us on a relaxing cruise through the picturesque waters of Shiplake, soaking up the views and enjoying great company.
And of course what's a river trip without a warm cup of tea or coffee on deck?

Today by the river we saw the Swan Uppers 🦢 an ancient British Tradition that takes place annually on the River Thames starting from Marlow then to Cookham.
Historically it was about marking ownership of swans but now its essentially a health check, checking for injuries or to record their numbers.

Its not something you get to see everyday! 🇬🇧

Last Wednesday, our clients set off on a charming boat trip from beautiful Bisham — and what a day it was! With laughter echoing across the river and the sun shining down, it was the perfect setting for connection and relaxation. 🍰🫖
Of course, no cruise is complete without a little indulgence — tea and cake were served in a gazebo , adding an extra touch of delight to an already unforgettable afternoon. Here's to more moments like this!
