The National School of First Aid Training

The National School of First Aid Training We are a specialist first aid training organisation offering practical and hands on first aid traini What makes us different?

The National School of First Aid Training (NSFAT) knows first-hand the value of first aid and the difference it makes when accidents do happen. The training and the after-care we offer to our clients and customers is a testament to our success as a trusted and respected first aid training organisation. The NSFAT was originally founded out of a local requirement in rural South Lanarkshire (Scotland

) for recognised and accredited first aid qualifications (that meet the requirements of The Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981) delivered in a practical and hands on way (that does not rely on boring PowerPoint’s and lectures) that is cost effective and client focused. From this simple brief the NSFAT has grown beyond any expectations into a national training organisation that supports local and large businesses, national corporations, local governments, charities and private individuals. The training that we offer is dynamic and radical, focusing on developing practical and hands on techniques that in turn build confidence. We teach genuine, useable first aid skills that are tried and tested in the real world to save lives and not just to look good in the safe and controlled environment of the classroom. Our courses are (and always will be) delivered by professional, experienced and fully qualified instructors with proven backgrounds in emergency and trauma care such as NHS nurses, military medics and state registered (expedition) Paramedics. We also have many environmentally specific instructors such as International Mountain Leaders and fire fighters to teach and support courses based on client needs and specifications. Many organisations make extravagant claims about being the best at everything and better than everyone. We work hard to be the best for our clients and customers, meeting their needs and expectations and delivering training they need and that the participants will value for life.
