Today we celebrated Diwali as a team. Residents have been working hard on making the decorations for our themed lunch and staff prepared an amazing lunch for us all to enjoy, followed by teaching us all some of their famous dancing!

We are pleased, and honoured, to announce that we have just started our accreditation to become part of the

The Framework supports care providers in identifying veterans and their wellbeing needs, addressing social isolation, and providing signposting to statutory and charitable services.

It consists of four categories made up of eight standards which care providers will need to meet to achieve VFF status.

By the end of February, we are expecting to complete the accreditation and then offer the appropriate support to veterans.

The team has been out on team building activities at the longridge centre.

One group did axe throwing, and the second group did a combination of team challenges.

The main purpose of these activities is to strengthen work relationships, improve communication and build trust within the team. All of these contribute to better outcomes for our residents.

Mollie enjoyed being pampered at the hairdressers, and one to one time in the garden. Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that put the biggest smiles on our faces.

For many months the team at Boulters have been working hard to gain accreditation for gold standards framework in end of life care.

On friday home manager Ashleigh, care practitioner Denisa and senior carer Sheila attended the GSF awards ceremony and was awarded the accreditation!

This is a great achievement for the home enabling us to provide the best possible end of life care and promoting living well for our residents!

Today was a big day at Boulters. We celebrated Jean’s 100th birthday! Jean’s daughter Karen and all the staff worked together to create a magical day from start to finish.

Jean had an afternoon cream tea party with all her friends and then we had the great Simon in to entertain us with an incredible show! Jean was showered with lots of gifts, and her friends at Boulters got together to make a beautiful card signed by everyone.

Happy 100th Birthday Jean!
