The Nore SEMH Academy at Halfway (on the old Danley Middle school site) is having an open evening for Year 5 students and their families.

The evening runs from 4pm to 5.30pm on Thursday 30th April.

If you want to go along, then please contact the school directly on 01795 720747 or email office@noreacademy.co.uk.

Please SHARE this with anyone you think may be interested in attending.

The school is one part of the tremendous improvements in education facilities we have seen on Sheppey over the last couple of years. We have gone from having one special school on the island to having five, from one failing high school to two over-subscribed academies with an excellent 6th form school, and we now have an expanded Sheppey College offering a wide range of 14+ and post-16 education.

We know we need more secondary places, and I'll keep up the pressure on that, but with heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in creating a much brighter educational outlook on Sheppey than we have had for decades. It can only be a good thing for the future of Sheppey's children.
