🔧 IT Issues – Patient Update 🔧

We are currently experiencing IT issues, and unfortunately some of our computers are not working at the moment. Our IT team has been contacted and is working hard to resolve this as a priority.

Please be aware that our phone lines are also currently down; however, we are in the process of getting calls diverted as soon as possible.

We understand that these IT issues have been occurring more frequently and appreciate that this is frustrating. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding, as this situation is outside of our control.

Thank you for bearing with us — we will provide an update as soon as normal service resumes.

đź’™ Thank You for Attending Our COVID Clinic đź’™

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Saturday’s COVID clinic. We really appreciate your patience and understanding — and to our team who worked incredibly hard throughout the day.

We’re aware that some people experienced longer waiting times. This was mainly due to a high number of patients arriving very early, sometimes up to an hour before their scheduled appointment, as well as some attendees arriving without an appointment. Unfortunately, this made it difficult to keep the clinic running as smoothly as planned.

Ahead of tomorrow’s clinic, we kindly ask everyone to attend at their allocated appointment time only, as this helps us keep things moving efficiently and reduces waiting for all.

Thank you again for your support and cooperation — we look forward to seeing you tomorrow 💙

📢 Important Update for Our Patients

We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to how prescription requests from Field Pharmacy are managed.
Due to recent changes in how these requests are being sent to the surgery — without prior agreement — requests are now arriving sporadically by email throughout the day. This has made it increasingly difficult for our team to manage them safely alongside our daily clinical workload.

Previously, prescription requests were delivered in a single batch each morning, allowing us to process them efficiently and maintain patient safety. Unfortunately, the new system has led to delays and confusion, and we understand that this has affected some patients and care providers.

After careful consideration, from Monday 20th April, we will no longer be able to accept prescription requests from Field Pharmacy via email.

👉 Patients can continue to request prescriptions by:
- Using the NHS App
- Submitting a written request directly to the surgery
- Asking their pharmacy to provide requests via the previous delivery method

We are very sorry that this situation has arisen and for any inconvenience or frustration it may have caused. Our priority remains to provide a safe, reliable, and efficient service for our patients.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support đź’™

âś… Update: New Blood Test Results Process Now in Effect

Thank you for your patience while we moved over to our new system for sharing blood test results. This update is to let you know that the changes are now fully in place.

đź”” What this means for you:
• We no longer send text messages for normal blood test results.
Normal results don’t require any action, so you will not be contacted.

• You can view your results quickly and easily on the NHS App once they’ve been reviewed by a clinician.
If you’re not yet set up for online services, you can register here 👇
https://www.yaldingdoctors.nhs.uk/form-application-for-online-access

• If you prefer, you can still call the surgery after 2pm to ask about your results 📞

• If any results are abnormal or need a follow‑up, the surgery will always contact you.
This may be a message to your NHS App, a text, or a call from reception—depending on what the clinician advises.

Thank you for helping us improve the way we communicate your results and for supporting this transition.
