Our September children's nasal flu clinic is now FULL due to overwhelming demand – thank you, Yalding families! 💛

But don’t worry… we’ve added a second clinic on Saturday 4th October! 🎉

Nurse Louise will be dressed as a MINION 🟡👓 to help make flu protection a little more fun for your little ones!

Calling all parents of little ones aged 2–3 years — our Children’s Nasal Flu Clinic is now open for bookings! 🩺👃

📅 Date: Wednesday 17th September
🕗 Time: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Location: Yalding Surgery

✨ Nurse Louise will be running the clinic dressed as a Minion to help make flu time fun time! Every brave little patient will get a Minion sticker as a reward for their superhero sniffle shot! 💪💛

🚨 Important Sample Submission Update 🚨

To ensure we can process your sample correctly, all samples must now be returned with a completed sample slip.

These slips will be given to you along with the sample bottle.

Samples without a completed slip will not be accepted.

Even if you leave your sample in the drop-off box outside, it must be securely attached to a completed sample slip—without this, your sample may not be processed.

If you need assistance filling in the slip, please ask one of our Reception team who will be happy to help.

🌟 Meet The Team Monday 🌟

This week, we're delighted to introduce Dr. Ahmed, one of our dedicated GP partners. We asked Dr Ahmed a few questions to help you get to know him better.

🩺 Why did you choose to become a GP?
I was drawn to general practice for its unique ability to provide continuous care and build lasting relationships with patients. I value the opportunity to support patients not only through medical treatment but also by connecting them with social resources that enhance their well-being. The privilege of caring for individuals across all stages of life—from newborns to the elderly—offers daily challenges that are both deeply rewarding and personally fulfilling.

🌍 What are your hobbies?
Outside of my medical practice, I enjoy travelling and capturing beautiful landscapes through photography. I'm a regular visitor of Kent's coastline and National Trust sites, finding inspiration in the natural beauty of the region.

💬 What's one piece of healthcare advice to the community?
I'm a strong advocate for immunisation and vaccination, believing that prevention is the best medicine. I encourage everyone to stay up to date with their vaccinations to protect themselves and the community.

Lailah has joined us in Reception and Dispensary, and she’s already bringing warmth, efficiency, and a big smile to every interaction. 💫
