Dear Patients,

Due to unforeseen problems with the internet at the Barming site, we have had to temporarily close the site. However, we have maintained patient services by redeploying staff and offering patients appointments at our other three sites:

The College Practice (College Road)
Albion Place Medical Centre
Allington Surgery

Apologies for this disruption and we have been assured by IT that they are working hard to resolve the issue, so that we may resume services, at Barming, as quick as possible.

Dr Green – Patient Update

We wanted to share some news about a much-loved member of our practice family. Many of you will remember Dr. Green, who retired last year after an incredible 24 years caring for patients at The College Practice.

Unfortunately, Dr. Green has been unwell and has recently undergone surgery. We are pleased to let you know he is now recovering.

Dr. Green has always valued the wonderful relationships he built with his patients, and we know he would be touched to hear from you. If you would like to send him your good wishes, you can pop a note or card into any of our practice sites, and we will ensure he receives it.

Alternatively, you can email your message to pals.thecollegepractice@nhs.net, and we will happily pass it on.

Thank you for your kindness and support.

NHS services are very busy at the moment. It’s important to come forward with any health concerns but you can help ease the pressure by choosing the right service.

Emergency departments are currently extremely busy treating high numbers of patients. This service is for those who need it most – like people with severe chest pains, serious head injuries, loss of consciousness or breathing difficulties.

Please help us to protect emergency departments by using an alternative service if you have a less serious condition.
