As we experience hot temperatures today, it is critical to maintain proper hydration. We encourage our clients and staff members to drink ample fluids throughout the day to prevent hydration.

Also, for staff to be vigilant in monitoring clients comfort and safety in this heat.Check for any signs of heat- related illnesses and take necessary precautions, these are vital aspects of care.

Respiratory illness, such as Flu are one of the main reasons for hospitalisations from the care sector during winter.

As April comes to a close and with it marks the arrival of spring. We cannot help but to feel the sense of renewal and hope as the flowers bloom and the days grow longer. We are reminded of the endless possibilities that lie ahead and the vast memories & experiences we are yet to create with our loved ones.

Just as nature awakens into its new season, so too must we awaken to the importance of nurturing personal and social relationships. Caring for a loved one with dementia or other health conditions can be both rewarding and challenging. As caregivers, it’s crucial we prioritise not only their physical wellbeing but also their social and emotional needs.
