ACTIVATE is a musculoskeletal clinic based in Kent, providing clinical assessments, musculoskeletal ultrasound scanning and outpatient treatments.

Our clinic locations are in Maidstone and Kings Hill At ACTIVATE Musculoskeletal Clinic, a thorough clinical assessment will be performed in addition to an ultrasound scan if indicated to diagnose your problem. We will provide you with a personalised step-by-step treatment Plan based on your unique care needs. Those steps may include:
o Activity Modification: In some cases, resting the affected area and allowing it to repair on its own is the only care needed. o Assistive devices: A brace, orthotic, sling or other assistive device
o Physiotherapy: Important for most orthopaedic conditions to strengthen muscle and surrounding tissue, and also to train your body to move correctly and prevent later injury. o Topical or oral medications: Prescription medications may include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or nerve pain medications to relieve pain
o Steroid injections: Joint or soft tissue injections, which may include a combination of corticosteroid and numbing medicine, could be prescribed to relieve pain and improve function. These injections may also help decide if your condition requires stronger therapies. o You will be informed on how the condition could have occurred, in addition to the anatomy
o We will go through each option of the plan in detail
