Here at Porthaven Care Homes, we are proud to support Brew Monday 🍵

We know how important it is to stay connected with those we care about, so every day at 3pm our team members pause what they are doing to spend one-on-one time with our residents. Whether going for a walk in the garden, playing a game of chess or enjoying a simple cup of tea, these moments of connection are beneficial for everybody.

We took a fun little shopping trip to the local stores to check out the last of the sales. Our residents had a great time browsing around and picked up some fantastic bargains. It was a cozy way to spend a rainy January morning!😁⭐

💗Our residents had such a wonderful afternoon when Babyballet Maidstone, Malling & Medway came to visit us!🩰✨

☁️Miss Charmaine brought the adorable baby ballet group, and they performed some truly beautiful dances that everyone enjoyed.🥰⭐

In honor of we held a quiz, sung songs in our weekly choir and finished the afternoon with our best Elvis impressions.

We had a fun afternoon with James the Funky Fiddler! He brought us a fantastic mix of tunes from the 50s to the 80s, including some of our residents’ favourites. Everyone really enjoyed the lively vibes of his songs and loved singing along 🥂🍾

We had an amazing time ringing in the new year here at Cavell Park! Everyone dressed up in their best sparkle, and we enjoyed a fantastic afternoon full of music, dancing, bubbles, and a fun New Year’s quiz. We also played some games, including Pass the Parcel, but the real highlight was definitely our singing together.
