🎉 Today was a double celebration at Cavell Park! We joined together to honour two of our wonderful residents on their birthdays, surrounded by family, friends, and plenty of cake!🥳🍰

Yesterday, we had a wonderful celebration for ! Our lovely ladies enjoyed some delicious homemade food with clotted cream and jam, and we spent time chatting about some truly inspiring women, such as , , and, of course, .

Later on, we were happy to be joined by Annie Riley who entertained us with hits from the 60s.🥰🎤

Today, we were lucky to have Malindi join us! She’s a wonderfully talented musical theatre actress with professional training and a pretty impressive background. Her performance, called “Happy Hour,” was a fun-filled hour of lively classics from the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s. Our residents loved Malindi’s vibrant energy and incredible talent, they had such a fun afternoon of singing and dancing.👭👩‍🎤🫶💕

We couldn't do what we do without the smart, caring, professional, empathetic, funny and dedicated women who make up our teams across the country. And, of course, where would we be without our delightful residents, whose life stories never fail to inspire and amaze us? 💖

We had such a relaxed and delightful afternoon playing board games and cards. It was a wonderful way to spend a few hours with our residents, sharing some laughter and fun times. We enjoyed a game of and , and of course, they always turn into a bit of friendly competition! 😂
