We couldn't do what we do without the intelligent, kind, professional, supportive, amusing and passionate men who make up our teams across the country. And, of course, where would we be without our marvellous residents, whose life stories never fail to inspire and surprise us 💙

A big thank you to everyone who took part in our "Where is Pudsey going on holiday?" raffle to help raise money for Children in Need.

Pudsey has been tirelessly helping out with the fundraising efforts and will be enjoying a well-earned holiday in South Africa! 🐘🦁

And congratulations to Kelly, who won the adorable bear for her lovely mum. 😘

What an amazing day at Cavell Park!

We had such a fantastic day raising money for Children in Need, with lots of fun activities like Pudsey Bingo and guessing Pudsey’s next holiday destination. We were also treated to live music by the talented Elle Cleave covering hits from , Earth, Wind & Fire, and some timeless .🎶

Our amazing chefs whipped up some fabulous Pudsey-themed cakes that looked and tasted wonderful!😊🍰

This World Diabetes Day, Diabetes UK are challenging the stigma surrounding diabetes and encouraging people to reflect on how they talk about the condition.

Diabetes UK found that, across the UK, over 8 in 10 people with type 1 and over 7 in 10 people with type 2 diabetes say they experience blame and judgement for their condition. It is important that we are all conscious of how the things we say impact others, because our words matter. Together, we can and help improve the lives of those living with diabetes.

A huge thank you to Harley and Thomas for visiting our home and showcasing some of the amazing dances they perform in competitions!

They kindly shared with our residents a glimpse into their lives, training, and some of the highlights of their careers. Harley Nelson and Thomas Purdy are British ballroom dancers who travel the world competing—and we're so grateful they took the time to visit us!🫶

Le’arna Castle paid us a lovely visit last week and brought so much joy to our residents with their wonderful songs from the 1940s and wartime era.❤️

Everyone had such a great time singing along and really appreciated the variety of songs she shared with us!✨

To mark Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, our residents have taken part in memorial services across the country to honour those who served and continue to serve our country. For many of our residents, these dates hold personal significance and provide the opportunity to not only honour their own past, loved ones and friends, but also share memories of such an important part of their lives.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

A meaningful day at RAF Biggin Hill, where our resident Robin respectfully laid the Remembrance Wreath on behalf of Cavell Park's residents and staff. This was complemented by a delicious lunch and a guided tour of the chapel before visiting the museum.

Our local Sea Cadets also joined us and shared quality time with our residents while commemorating Remembrance Day. We all took a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made.
