Client from earlier this week😊

Good limb shape definition was present in the first place however a reduction of oedema is still evidenced in this picture , particularly to calf and ankle.
Tissues felt soft and moveable after deep oscillation treatment👍🏻

Even Maya Jama found the time to have a lymphatic drainage massage before the BRITS. If only she spoke to us before we could have told her how amazing lymphatic drainage is a loooong time ago !

Anatomy exam passed this week 🥳

Now onto my lesson plan( with a little help from Rooh😸) which will need pre approving by my tutor, followed by an assessed practical session. Fingers crossed I will then get the green light to start teaching

Timeline of photos demonstrating just how fabulous deep oscillation treatment is at aiding in wound healing.

This client had a static leg ulcer for 3 months prior to trying deep oscillation. In just 5 weeks we managed to heal the ulcer by reducing the surrounding oedema 👍🏻

Just a little update …….

Many of you may remember a discussion we had several months ago about me introducing an aqua aerobics class, exclusive to Lipoedema/ lymphodema ladies.

Well good news, I am now under way with the aqua aerobics training and aiming to have received my certificate by the end of the year, meaning classes should be able to start at the beginning of 2022🤞🏼

I will keep you posted but hopefully exciting times lie ahead 💖

Client feedback makes it all worth while☺️I am passionate in what I do as I know the difference it can make. When a client tells you they’ve felt a positive change in their limb, and they’ve benefited from treatment there’s no better feeling !

Myself and kelly @ Lipoedema Events UK have recently been discussing about different support and events which could be offered to Lipoedema ladies. Kelly is keen to create a hub in the form of Lipoedema events which allows anyone in the UK to log on and see what events are happening near them. A great idea if you ask me and something I am happy to be on board with 👍🏻

I would love to offer an aqua aerobics fitness class to all Lipoedema/ lymphodema ladies and Would be keen to know if this is something any of you would be interested in? If Perhaps you are not as bothered about the aerobics, even just attending a lipo/ lympho ladies only swim may be of interest? A safe environment where you can feel comfortable and meet others if you wish too 😊

It would likely not occur until later this year/ early 2022 but it’s good to get the feelers out there to get a rough idea of uptake. Looking at the Medway/ Maidstone area for pool hire.

Can all the ladies that would like to take part in an Aqua Aerobics class(es) in the future (some time in 2022) please make yourself known. We would need at least 10 ladies to run this class, and I’m trying to gauge if we can meet this number.

Most likely Maidstone/Medway area, and would be run by the lovely Ella.
