As we celebrate the arrival of 2026, let’s make safety a priority for everyone, especially our loved ones at home.

✅ Clear walkways of decorations to prevent trips and falls.
✅ Never leave candles or fairy lights unattended.
✅ Ensure medications are taken on time, even during festivities.
✅ Keep pets and vulnerable loved ones indoors during fireworks to reduce stress and avoid accidents.
✅ Close windows and curtains to minimize noise and flashing lights from fireworks.
✅ Have ear protection available for anyone sensitive to loud noises.

During the festive season there's so much going on from family plans, Christmas markets, to Elf on the Shelf and more but winter bugs like flu, RSV, and COVID-19 can really throw your plans off track.

Here’s how to protect yourself and others:
✅ Get vaccinated if eligible (flu, COVID-19, RSV)
✅ Stay home when you’re unwell
✅ If you must go out, wear a mask
✅ Catch coughs and sneezes in tissues
✅ Wash hands regularly
✅ Open windows when meeting indoors
