Hey!

I haven’t posted in a while partly because life’s just been doing its usual and also because I just forgot 😅. You know how it is - you think about posting, draft in your head and then weeks fly by. Oops
But I’m still here. Still holding space. Still showing up for those who need somewhere safe to sit, breathe and feel what they’re feeling.
If you’ve been feeling a bit off, disconnected or like everything is just alot - you’re not alone in this.
You don’t have to do it all, you don’t have to be everything.

We often talk about calming the nervous system but a regulated nervous system isn’t always calm and relaxed 😌. It might feel alert, focused, present but not shut down or overwhelmed. Regulation means your system can handle what’s happening. Learning how regulation shows up for you can be a powerful part of healing. 🧠 For one person it could be -
Feeling grounded, breathing slower, able to focus and listen without zoning ⚡️For another it could be -
Moving around, talking with energy, heart rate slightly elevated — but still feeling in control and connected. 🤝 For someone else-
Making eye contact, feeling safe enough to ask for help or set a boundary.

💡 And for others -
Being able to pause before reacting, tolerate discomfort, or stay with a difficult emotion without shutting down. 💕Regulation is less about how you look and more about how your system feels — steady, safe, and able to respond with flexibility.

Change doesn’t have to be loud or dramatic to be meaningful. Whether you’ve taken a breath before reacting, gotten out of bed on a tough day or simply shown up you’ve made progress! Here are 5 signs your anxiety might be linked to something deeper:
1. You replay conversations in your head for hours
2. You need ages to recover from social interactions
3. You procrastinate even the smallest tasks
4. You feel like you’re always “performing” a version of yourself
5. You’re constantly exhausted—even when you’ve done very little

If this sounds familiar, it might not be just anxiety.
You’re not weak or overreacting—your brain might simply be wired differently. And that’s OK. 💕
